That's too much. we are gonna lose one of them by christmas.

mtfootball wrote:I think Benzema should leave. Like you said, both of them are similar and Higuain is more of a CF. Aguero is just more suited to our team with his speed and overall ability. Like I said before, if Ronaldo wasn't here then Benzema would probably take his place.
I think about that then i remember that despite us saying that, benzema is still creating chances and scoring goals... converting his chances at a great percentage. Are we overplaying that 'classic' forward thing?

I'm hoping we play a 4-3-3 with Sahin in the middle. So I don't think we need much creativity from the strikers.

I just have a funny gut feeling we will keep Benz, Higuain and add Aguero

Re: Sergio Aguero Discussion
That would be Epic fail. If there is one kind of player we lack, it's someone that can drive the ball in small spaces in the midfield. we only have Ozil doing it, but he likes to play pretty high. WOuld be valuable against barca, rather than having kaka running straight like a arrow into a double team

Doesn't Sahin play similair to Özil, but deep instead?

He should come a bit more deeper imo. We had the same problem with Kaka, he just use to stay in one spot.

Re: Sergio Aguero Discussion
Ozil came out and said that our cursed number 10 is reserved for Kunt I guesss it's old news already. The move seems apparent by now. Oh, Benz is more likely to leave, he doesn't want to stay as number two. If it wasn't the case Higgy and Benz would have the same chances to be sold

Re: Sergio Aguero Discussion
this is f'ed up if aguero comes..up until this , it would have seemed perez had corrected all of his previous mistakes ... its just a player who we simply dont need and we're getting for the sake of getting a new toy..
really i'll believe only when i see it. i for one believe perez has changed his ways and this is all just media hype to sell papers.
if he does come..how certain is it that a striker has to leave in his place??? obviously its normal for a team to have 4 strikers: benzema, aguero, higuain, and morata..all competing for time and different situations

Re: Sergio Aguero Discussion
when we buy a player nowadays, mourinho is 65-70% of the process.
we cant keep them all, Benzema is very likely to leave.

There's no chance that we keep 4 strikers happy, 3 of which are quite well known and established. Benzema was the one rumoured to be leaving at the start of the window, and I still believe he will be the one sold.
As Nick said above, Mourinho's new power makes you believe the signing is for a genuine purpose, not just for the sake of it.

I've held the belief he is a likely signing for a while now. I think like Coentrao, there are the minor issues to resolve but overall, he is on the way.
Mind you, I'm not the easiest person to convince from time to time.

Re: Sergio Aguero Discussion
meh if benz regain his speed aguero aint touching him in any category, benz has r9 potential its so easy to see it in him, i said it before and i will say it again if mou hadn't went out of his way to degrade benz so much to try to make him out to be a weak link in the team with all this "mou player" garbage, then he personally wouldn't be pushing for aguero so hard mainly when the fans and the board are against it, cause anybody can see that scoring goals was never our issue, if we sell benz and aguero comes and we win nothing then mou gets fired what are people gonna say then? high profile signing is only adding pressure to us to succeed mainly if we end up with a sneijder/robben incident again

Re: Sergio Aguero Discussion
If Aguero comes in Benzema's place, you think he'll accept a second role?
And will Higuain accept a second role because Madrid just bought a young striker?
I think it's the same problem again... so I really think it's better if we let Benzema stay because he knows the team more and he is already gelled in it.
So why buy a new striker and wait (maybe a little) till he adapts to our team if we have already 2 great forwards?

Re: Sergio Aguero Discussion
Personally, I'd rather see Benz sold and happily starting somewhere else. Tired of all this controversy... Honestly, this whole thing is degrading for a player of his caliber. Not to mention grossly undeserved given his performance in 2011.

Benzema is surely tired of all these rumours...
That's why I think he asked Mourinho and the club about his future...
And what Mou said MAY be the answer.
As you can see, I don't want to see Benzema leaving... nor Higuain of course!

Re: Sergio Aguero Discussion
AS reporting that Kun would have to lower his wage demands by 1M euros to join us. We are willing to pay him 6M.
This would place him 4th on our salaries table (behind Ronaldo, Kaka and Casillas).

Re: Sergio Aguero Discussion
never that either
its like benzemas case all over again
paying high cash wiithout even proving anything yet
look at ozil only getting 1-2 and has been our best player so far along with dimaria who gets something along that region
we have a player like ade who we want to give 4 mill to while he has done shit all in our team
benzema gets 6, and we all know how much he has done
kaka, dont get me started
not to mention gago getting more than dimaria and ozil combined LOO00L
overpaying players isnt our job but farca's
so he better pack his bag and go north, b/c he will eventually ride the bench anyways
