Every third thread in the General Section is being turned into some Barca-Madrid troll-fest and it needs to stop. We've tried diplomatic means of ending it and they haven't worked. As such more drastic measures are obviously necessary.

Give me one example or video of cheating from Suarez in the derby. Just one.

Perfectly fine during the fall, then as soon as he hits the ground, he goes for the knee/ankle/shin/foot

Re: Suarez's diving
We all know he play-acts all the time.....but there's always contact before he goes to ground. He doesn't dive without contact....Even in that gif Rodwell's knee hit his foot

C'mon now, the contact was nowhere near brutal enough to invoke that reaction, which obviously influenced Atkinson's decision
Totally unnecessary

Re: Suarez's diving
True, it was unnecessary to react like that with that sort 0f contact but nothing can be done about that......We can live with his play-acting as long as there is contact. At least he's not like Bisquit to clutch his face when hit on the shoulder or something.

Do you realize that jumping off of the ground off the ground to simulate getting tackled is a dive right? Okay just checking.

Re: Suarez's diving
Suarez is a diver/play-actor, so what? every team has someone like him anyway? We have Reyes, Real has Di maria, barca has alves, man-u has nani, Chelsea has drogba.
If you think about it, every team needs one of these. Their dives come handy sometimes

We have one of the best creative SS's in the world who would walk into any of your teams and i know most of you have wet dreams about him... Your defenders certainly do.

Re: Suarez's diving
Suarez exaggerates fouls, no doubt about it.
But that's not nearly as bad as diving, i.e. falling down without contact.

I'm sure the referee would have given a yellow card to Mascherano for knicking the back of his heel if he didn't jump in the air and act as if he'd been shot. There was contact but once he got knicked he jumped in the air and acted as if he had been clattered by a two footed tackle, clear dive.
I certainly recommend anyone watch this video til the end, it's worth it :lol!:

Re: Suarez's diving
Frequency of Dives: 8.0
Luis Suarez is frequent with his dives. Sometimes he can even flop two or three times per game.
Diving Success Rate: 6.5
Low success rate for Suarez here because most of his dives are in opposing team's danger areas.
Degree of Difficulty: 9.6
Luis likes to go for the penalty.
Final Diving Score: 8.0+6.5*9.6 = 70.4
Suarez loses some points because of his low success rate.

Yes, but I'm not saying that all of his "foul-exaggerations" are justified.
But, to me, there's a clear difference between diving and exaggerating fouls. In the former you go to ground without any contact (eg. Di Maria). In the latter you exaggerate a contact that was there (eg. Suarez).

Re: Suarez's diving
Exaggerating contact and going down too easily is also considered as diving anyway.

You just know he's diving when he does his signature hand raise thing.

Well yeah, in some cases, but often there's a clear difference, too.
But so far I haven't seen Suarez do anything in the Liverpool shirt that would have made me go "oh come on, man, don't do that...".
Obviously he's not the cleanest footballer around, but as I said, so far I haven't had a problem with him.

Re: Suarez's diving
Also in di marias case,9/10 of his dives are exaggerating contacts but its a dive nonetheless.
