Modric was out of his league when playing against Madrid... that should sum it up for you. He performs only when there is no pressure on him... when playing in a small pitch like WHL, Goodison, Cravan Cottage. He is criminally over rated in these forums.

SB is a nawwor pitch , and chelsea were going through that realy nasty period. He was somewhat okay against Man united (only once mind you)... but United had a mid table like midfield last year

Did someone say Arteta is better than Modric.Its either just trolling or hasnt seen play Everton play last year.Arteta has been past his best every since the injury couple of years ago.Modric is far far superior.

As for saying Barton is anywhere close to Modric its sheer ignorance nothing else.Modric has been excellent in the league for last 2 years though dont think he is the best.

If its about Creative midfielder then Silva is the best and if its Center Midfieder Gerrard by a long way IMO.
