Arsene
Just has to swallow his pride and go into the market for several players as early as possible. Regardless of the price it would cost to bring them in and even if it's against his "principle".
About 2 or 3 midfielders, A CB and a decent winger are a must.
EDIT: Oh and even if he is a mercenary *bleep* Arsenal just can't allow Nasri to be sold this late in the market especially with no replacement in sight.

Even if he truly wants to spend the money....He's only got ten days left, and a lot of the quality players on the market are now gone - what players are left out there who are good enough?

Is Gil a closet Arsenal fan? I would be happy if my rival team was as decimated as Arsenal is.

i agree with everything but nasri. alot of you just dont watch enough arsenal to realize he's really not that good. we'd be idiots to turn all that money down that city are offering.
but purchases have to been made, this is unacceptable

Re: Arsene
Wasn't Arsenal just one winger away from greatness a week ago (according to Vibetribe)?
I don't think they need to sign 4-5 players, but they definitely need a good creative midfielder and a leftback. CBs... if Djourou, Vermaleen and Kosc could keep healthy they are ok, but Wenger is just a pathetic fintess coach.

Re: Arsene
If I were an Arsenal fan, I'd be extremely worried this season.
Wenger once again hasn't bought enough players. Arsenal's depth of squad is woefully inadequate.
They have just sold their prized asset in Fabregas, with another in Nasri on the way out.
It looks as if Mata is heading to Chelsea.
Arsenal need to seriously spend big, or go home.

Re: Arsene
Arsenal squad is too weak.
For the match the part I watched showed that they are still a quality team. They were dominating the play and had good and quick passing. But they lack the creativity at the end and the finishing.
Wenger still is a great tactician and can do well with his current squad. But relying on players like Frimpong is only going to hurt Arsenal.

Among a sea of Sheikhs, rich oil tycoons and Texan billionaires, it's been amazing that Wenger's stuck to his principles and tried to apply a sane philosophy to football for so long
But it's not working and he needs to do something drastic. Fast

Andy Carroll, Stewart Downing and Jordan Henderson of #LFC (£71m) cost more than #Arsenal's current XI - £63.65m.

Pretty sure if you throw a £20-25m offer at the likes of M'Villa, Cahill, Honda etc most clubs out there would sell.
If i was Wenger, I'd go into 'Arry Wheeler & Dealer mode and sign the likes of Zarate, Cahill, Honda, Lucho & maybe M'Villa before the window closes.

we have already lost Wilshere, Djourou, Kos, Song, Gervinho, Frimpong, Traore, Gibbs to injures/ban and it's only been 3 games....

Whilst Wenger has stuck to his "principles", Arsenal's main rivals have been winning trophies.
A principle is fine if it works. If it doesn't, and for so long, then you have to change and innovate, otherwise you will get left behind big time.

Re: Arsene
Principles fly out to die in this age of hundred thousand euro a week salaries and total lack of loyalty in the players.
I'm down the slide to "Wenger should be sacked" world, if shit doesn't improve soon.

Re: Arsene
It's going to be difficult for him to even get a go at M'vila, the other names are more likely.

This is a factor. This Arsenal team will be judged once they are in full strenght and have all their players playing.
However and unfortunately for them, the English title race is one sided and is played with at least 85 points. Dropping points at the beginning is almost forbidden.

M'Vila? But think about Frimpong, it could kill his career
In all seriousness though - Arsene should try to get City to include Kolarov in the Nasri deal (how lulzy would that be)...He's a better left back than any I can think of on the market
Cahill, M'Vila, Honda would be good...Its a shame Taiwo went to Milan on a free instead of Arsenal

Imo it's not important WHEN you drop points, but WHO you drop points against.
