Spurs close to signing Lass - Sky Sports
The deal is rumoured to be around 10m. I don't think they really need him with Sandro and Palacios already there.

Re: Spurs close to signing Lass - Sky Sports
we are selling for so low, around 13M, a lot less than what we wanted, but virtually no club was interested lol.
Tottenham signed Van der vaart for 8M already, now Lass. pale in comparison to what we spent for both, oh well... at least he is leaving.
What are Gago, Drenthe and Leon up to? lol

Isn't Leon already with Getafe?

Your right!! God he's got to be stupid. If he's not careful he will end up following in Drenthe's footsteps. He I think will end up being outright released.
So these 3 are likely going to end up screwing up our numbers (and it's beyond Aug 7th, Mou's deadline). I know Gago is really disappointed that Boca didn't even put an offer in for him after he offered to lower his salary. But like Lass, I suspect there will not be a lot of interest out there for Gago nor for Drenthe. Leon should have had offers within Spain so I just don't understand. Perhaps he didn't want to go back to getafe now that Michel is no longer there, but you would think a loan agreement there is much better than sitting home. Not the best way to advance your career.

Re: Spurs close to signing Lass - Sky Sports
If we release him, we have to pay him a couple of millions, he will take us to court, not good.
Im wondering what he is up to, maybe he is trying to screw us through somehow. Because there is no way mourinho will let him back with the group, and if mourinho doesnt then we make a case for Leon to ask for reparations maybe.
Drenthe and Gago arent at issue, they understand they have to go, so even if we have to give them away for free on the last day of ransfer market they will go.
the problem is leon.

Re: Spurs close to signing Lass - Sky Sports
Lass brought offers early that we refused because we wanted a higher transfer fee.. Now, those offers are off the table. He will screw us because we screwed him. He has two years left on his contract and, as long as he does what he needs to, we have to pay him. We've been pretty bad with selling players this year.

We'll probably sell/loan on these guys on deadline day.

Yeah. I always get uncomfortable when the spurs or arsenal are the buyers. They low ball everything...

Why does Lass have to go? If he wants to stay then there's nothing wrong with having him as Khedira's backup.
