Re: Goodbye Real Ronaldo
Sad to see a legend of the game move on.
Now everyone, it is time to watch his successor Alexis Sanchez. The only man on the planet who can emulate R9's great stepovers.

Re: Goodbye Real Ronaldo
its really a shame that this player never fulfiled his potential ! imagine what he could have been if injuries didnt destroy his career. A very short career for someone of his caliber and yet he's considered one of the best players in the history of the game. he's the reason i started watching football and the reason why im an Inter fan, and after he left, football never felt as magical as it once was

Re: Goodbye Real Ronaldo
The funny thing about Ronaldo is, after playing for Barca, Inter, Real Madrid and Ac Milan; not one group of supporters from those four heavily rivaled clubs turned on him and called him a traitor when he moved on.
He was such an amazing player that, I think, people realised that he should be shared around the world, that many great clubs could have a little piece of Ronaldo. While fans of the 4 clubs mentioned might have been sad to see him leave, they were accepting and happy that he was able to grace their club with his presence.

Re: Goodbye Real Ronaldo
Do you think things would have been that way if he made direct transfers from Barca to Madrid and from Inter to Milan?Giovanni10 wrote:The funny thing about Ronaldo is, after playing for Barca, Inter, Real Madrid and Ac Milan; not one group of supporters from those four heavily rivaled clubs turned on him and called him a traitor when he moved on.

In the top 3 players I've ever seen play.
'
Sad day, but a long time coming.
I see him a bit like Van Basten. Imagine what he could have gone on to do without the injuries

Re: Goodbye Real Ronaldo
Real Ronaldo, lol. That always makes me chuckle a bit. He wasn't the reason I started watching football but I'm sure glad I got to see him while he was simply Godly in his efforts. Absolutely amazing player who I reckon we wouldn't see another anytime soon (unless one considers Messi or Cristiano to be something of an adequate replacement).
I do wonder though, who was the one person who gave a thumbs down in that goal.com ratings?
