Hello, Udinese proved somthing 2night
THAT Serie A midtable teams can easily dominate the Europa League, if it was prestigious enough as the Champs League is. We always see the italian clubs not even progress out of the groupstage of EL or even qualify for it like Palermo this year, but if it was actually worth something like the CL is no doubt the Serie A would have a team in the semifinals or finals every season
I am really proud of Udinese and what they did to Arsenal last night. Arsenal fans and EPL fans might argue that they didnt have Fabregas, Nasri etc, but Udinese sold their 3 best players, and comparing Arsenal and Udinese, Arsenal is an established top 4 team in England, even at times title contender, while Udinese had their one wonder season last season, normally Udinese belongs to the Europa League/midtable class of serie a, but tonight they showed that they easily could fight big teams in the Champions League, and even if they go out against Arsenal they COULD EASILY DOMINATE the EUROPA LEAGUE if they just WANT TO.

Udinese proved just two things. Arsenal are not very good and Udinese are not very good.

You do understand how the CL works. 1-0 is a very dangerous result at home.

Remember Sampdoria vs Wolfsburg at home. Uff what a game, that's how dangerous it can get.

It seems that you've never met Di Natale before, he's known for ruining lives in Udine

Oh and by the way, this just to show that once again Serie A is the most competitive league in Europe. Udinese even without their star players like Inler or Sanchez are still able to put out a performance like this. Needless to say this is just a midtable club. Include others like Napoli, Roma, Lazio, Palermo and etc... then your typical heavywieghts, you wonder how Serie A is so underrated...

Yep. It will end up with Arsenal scoring first on a counter attack, and Udinese wasting tons of chances with only 1 man capable of scoring goals for the team.

Indeed. The league is very strong as a whole, and is very underrated in my country, embarrassing how little they know of Italian football here.
Italy having 3 teams in CL is an absolute outrage, and because of the stupid Europa League is so horrible.

Then we got Germans who clame the Bundesliga is better because they dominate in Europa. Oh right, good job. While we in fact win CL's. When on earth was it the last time Bayern thier only squad capable of winning a CL won anything? A final against Inter? Hm...

It was the fourth of Premier league vs the fourth of Serie A and Arsenal won without playing their best.

lol you guys are a joke, your acting as if Arsenal walked the league in epl. you do realise that since December arsenal have only won 2 game right? lool we are not good atm. udinese are an average team really. its just atm arsenal is average as well. blackpool played better then this udinese team against us. if anything it showed me just how non-clinical seria A is.

Um hello? You do realize that Udinese is not regarded as top club anymore? No Sanchez, No Inler, No Zapata. All they got is Di Natale and Isla. Cry me a river, since when does Udinese even compare to Arsenal when it comes to superiority. It's irrelavent how Arsenal is right now, in fact Udinese have not been so bright in Pre Season. Their players don't even compare to what Arsenal have...

Re: Hello, Udinese proved somthing 2night
Small teams always show up against big teams and give them problems. Most EPL teams gave Arsenal trouble at home last year.
Both teams were with out many of their top players and I think they were both even.
Arsenal scored first this ment Udinses had nothing to lose but to Attack and get a goal back, I think it was good game.
2 of Arsenal players were no where to be seen, Wenger made a mistake by starting rosicky.
Second leg will tough one but the good news is RVP and Jack Wilshere will be there.
I will go with 1-1 or 2-1 Arsenal.
Its too early to judge a team only 2 real games under their belt.

At the end of the day it was 11 vs 11 and yes in certain areas Arsenal did have advantages but overall it look even to me, yes Arsenal are the bigger team, but what we have been going through can distract team.

I am just stating the truth.
It was 4th vs 4th and not 1st vs 20th like you are trying to spin.

Your using a double standard.. It doesn't matter if Udinese sold Sanchez, Inler, and Zapata. Arsenal didn't have Cesc, Nasri, RVP, and Willy. Doesn't matter if Udinese quality doesn't match Arsenals. Arsenal didn't have their top players at all. Udinese didn't either and considering that Arsenal's system is based off Cesc and he didn't play tells you that Arsenal is still in the developing stages of having a new system. Arsenal's problems>Udinese's problems

How does any of that change the fact that it was fourth best team in PL vs fourth best team in Seria A?
