That CC win is papering over the cracks. Their players look as though they don't give a shit about the league since that win and are fully focuisng on the FA Cup. Which is a terrible mind set to have.

They over spent on dross too.

Thank you Arsenal!

8 points ahead.

Title is getting nearer. I know it's a cliche, but it's not over till it's over, and anything can happen in football.

Great day.

Liverpool have essentially sacked Dalglish. Worst week for us, he was providing me with lulz.

Remember last time when we had a bad season ( 05/06 ).Chelsea won EPL, Arsenal played the UCL final and we finished 4th in group stages.Next 5 years we played 1 quarter final, 1 semifinal, 3 finals and we won one of them.In EPL we won 4/5 seasons.

We have a good run of fixtures now up until Dec when we play City. Good opportunity to steer clear from our rivals.

Glad to see that we are 7 points over City and 14 (maybe 11) over Chelsea.I really consider Chelsea at least as good as City when it comes about title rivalries because their first XI is a very good one.Their problem is the squad. We have better players on the bench, we have always had.

Now they dropped some points against QPR beause they didn't use more than a half of their first XI players, so...in my opinion it is Benitez's fault because he underestimated QPR.At least, he had been punished for that by losing the game.In comparison with Chelsea, Man City used to win every home game despite not playing with their best players Sad.

One of my favourite quotes from Sir Alex: "The title is only in our hands right now.But it can be very slippery."

Manchester City drew 0-0 at Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday night (poor performance by Mancini's team). Elsewhere on Wednesday, Arsenal host Liverpool (19:45 UK) and Chelsea travel to Reading (20:00 UK).

We must win tonight's game if we want to be 7 points over Man Shitty.

City getting battered by Southampton means we can open a 12 point gap tomorrow if we beat Everton.

No fcking about, and no resting players. Lets get the job done and put one hand on the BPL trophy.

I'm sure our key players can cope with playing v everton then RM in the space of 4 days. They can rest for the FA cup game next monday.

Huge opportunity.

Oh, and thank you Southampton. what a performance. Completely outplayed City.

I couldn't believe my eyes what I was seeing, but, all throughout the season, Southampton has been playing very beautiful football (reminds me of Blackpool from a few seasons back). I hope though that they beat the drop, unlike Blackpool. 12 points... wow! We should beat Everton with our without all our key players if we counter Fellaini and Baines. We have no excuse not to win the league this season. Only a disaster of Pompeiian proportions would prevent us from doing so. And, IMO, we should rest some of our key players (not altogether, but playing max 60 mins).

Thank you Spurs! I was watching the first half and thought to myself, this has classic Spurs choke job written all over it. Never did I envisage a 3-1 score line at the end of the match.

That's a credit to AVB, the impact Holtby and Huddlestone made and the person who turned on the beast mode switch on the back Bale during HT.

The title is all but won now.

Thank you Spurs!!!!! Cool

City and Chelsea both hired new coaches so the top 3 teams of the last EPL season will have new managers. It will be hard for us to fight with our rivals because they now have better coaches than they had last seasons: Manuel Pellegrini and Jose Mourinho.

I am curious to see how will those two use their squads to beat us in the title race. It will be fun and interesting to watch the beginning of a new EPL era.

Let's not forget that Everton has also a new manager: Roberto Martinez. This was an inspired move made by Everton's staff. With  time, the good results will come. Martinez is young, ambitious and very talented in this domain. He was always one of my favourite coaches from EPL because he always knew to inspire his players and reach his managerial objectives even if the club was suffering at that time.

City bought Fernandinho, Navas and Jovetic. We need to buy something, fast!

Man City's movement is fantastic, but NUFC are playing poor they're finding it hard to even string a few passes together. Ben Arfa is being way too selfish with the ball at times, he's a great player but he's not making the right choices.

Played Cradiff8)  City are somewhat fortunate that the other 2 candidates for the league will take points off of each other tomorrow night.

Hopefully we get 3 points of course.

They are fortunate if we consider the temporary table, yet they lost to Cardiff, they still have to meet Chelsea and they can lose that game; but if we lose to Chelsea we still have the game vs Cardiff Smile .
