Our Rivals - Page 6 Empty Re: Our Rivals

Awful management and planning. They needed a top class striker, a defensive midfielder and are light in cb positions. Their biggest problem for me is in midfield and up front, they needed a big brute DM to break up play. They didn't address it, and now we are seeing how easily teams rip through their midfield in counter attacks.

And they needed a top class striker, someone clinical. They could have had Remy, didn't either bother to get him. He would have been an upgrade to all their strikers and for a cheap price too, but they stood and watched while Chelsea snatched him in a day or two. They waited till deadline day and an injury to Giroud for them to panic and get Welbeck Laughing So basically, if Giroud had gotten injured the week after, they would most likely not gone for Welbeck and would be stuck with Sanogo for 3 months rofl

Piss poor planning.

Now Wenger has put Ozil on the wing, Ozil is lazy, doesn't track back and has put in awful performances instead of having the better option in Cazorla. Arteta is dreadful as a DM and their defending from set pieces is abysmal.

Watching them stand idle and not fix glaring problems in their squad makes me appreciate Woodward and the way the club has finally become modern and spending our money to fix the big issues we have. Silly wages, expensive buys or not, if a team needs to buy and spend big on quality- DO IT!

Arsenal have the money, why they don't choose to fix the issues in their squad and stand idle while other clubs snap up players they could do with....I guess it's Wenger and the board.

The Ozil buy is another thing that screams of bad planning. Wenger stuck by Ramsey and Wilshere, so he obviously knew it was a matter of time that they would start performing, and now that they have he has no idea what do with Ozil. Now he's done the same thing with Sanchez, what will he do when Chamberlain starts performing consistently, which also should be a matter of time.

The Welbeck purchase was so risky as well, depending on a rival on the final day could have blew up on his face so badly.

42 mill buy that is twisting Wenger and the team's arm atm. I can tell that benching Ozil would concede to Wenger that his big money buy is flopping. He's too stubborn to make the change that will benefit the team. Rather have the expensive player in the team no matter what lol.

And I agree with you about the Welbeck transfer. We could have messed them up and said 'no we won't sell to you'. And have Welbeck sit out in the reserves. But we're too classy to do that.

It's time for Wenger to go. Legend and all that, will always be regarded as their best manager, but he seems to have lost it. Stubborn af and seems to have caight Moyes' infection of dithering when it comes to transfer targets.

Imagine what Klopp would do with this Arsenal team. He would be perfect for them.

Yeah, I agree with that. I think after this season, with two summer windows with money, there will be no excuse if he fails. Of course their board might think differently.

They've got some talented players, but no one really playing out of their skin. There's always the injury excuse, but then you look at Dortmund, who have even more injuries, but they have a manager that is able to get their players to play at 120%. Klopp is a fine manager, hopefully he'll be ours in the future.

A win against Everton will be really good for us. Need to pick up points where are rivals have dropped. Liverpool dropped two against them and so did Arsenal (albeit away).

I'm a little nervous about Mata's defensive contribution, I hope Carrick is back by the Chelsea game.

rofl gwan Rio and Scholes Proud

100% true. They are such a joke of a club. Embarrassing atmosphere and attendance. They never ever fill that shithole unless they play us.

And they have the cheek to want to expand it Laughing

They are just a small nothing club, and always will be. Huddersfield Town with money. That's all they are Wink

I couldn't get past page 5 due to the amount of vile things those bitter ***** (as usual) said about Scholes, who was 100% accurate in what he said.

That forum is the worst on the internet. ****** bitter *****. A shame that Roma didn't spank them on their shithole of a empty stadium today to give Scholes further ammunition to wind the idiots up. Laughing

Posting nudity, pornography, profanity, pictures containing profanity, vulgarity, hate speech, hostile comments or threats of violence or death, is strictly prohibited and will result in removal of offending posts and potential expulsion from the community.

Attempts of any kind to circumvent the profanity filter in any manner will result in removal of the post and a warning. Repeated attempts will result in a ban.
This includes; removal of a letter/letters, addition of a letter/letters, number(s) or symbol(s) to a filtered word.

The first two rules.
You removed one letter or added an asterisk which, as you can see by rule 2, is not allowed

I censored the words, hence why your post says I edited it.
