are you ready for an Arsenal like Inter ?
maybe the fact that we're broke and have no other choice makes this option a little bit easier to swollow, but suppose we were'nt in financial troubles, would you be ready to wait 5 or 6 years between every trophy ?

Understandable, but you have a ton of talented youth and probably the top primavera in the country. Not to mention, you're highly likely to land tevez and, god forbid, lavezzi (assuming we get rossi). Keep you're chin up ad look for the positives. Napoli had been bad for awhile, but I always love to watch them play, no matter how garbage they are. For me, just seeing the passion they leave on the field gets me pumped.

We aren't Arsenal....
Arsenal have to contend with United, City, Liverpool, Chelsea...
Who do we have to contend with?
Milan.....
Not the same at all

I'm happy we sold him... I don't want a milanista wearing our jersey... plus the kid is unstable and needs mancini...

Finishing the year +140mil would certainly make us the strongest team in Italy. Inter had a bigger turnover until they opened the emirates stadium, flew past us as if we were Lecce in a year.

but the Emirates is the reason why they dont invest in established star and go for younger cheaper ones. Of course that approach is much better on the long run, but there will be many barren years in between

Arsenal have money, they just don't spend it...Emirates will be paid off quickly at the rate they are going...What is their matchday revenue? 75mil or something? 3 or 4 times as much as ours...

they have a huge match day revenue and a huge debt as well. It was a smart move non the less, soon the Emirates will be payed for and they'll be one of the richest clubs on the planet.
of course i wish we can emulate them, but we're already in debt without having our own stadium, and we dont even have plans to build one on the time being

Build a stadia and name it whoever the f pays for it. Pirelli, Acer, Nike whatever. It shouldn't be hard finding someone willing to pay for it. MM could pay for it himself if he wanted to. Paid close to a billion in less than 2 decades, why can't he pay for something that'll actually give his investment back? Hard to understand how that's not the biggest priority for the club.

I don't think thats correct...We suffer heavy losses every year, but to my knowledge were not actually in debt... cause Moratti covers all the losses out of his own pocket (At least im pretty sure thats how it is with us, we might have a little debt but its negligible) - when people freak out about our financials its not because of debt its because we keep incurring losses ever year...and while for now Moratti can cover it once FFP kicks in he won't be able to
Inter's debt is all owed to Moratti, but its not like he's ever going to collect so...

Unlike other teams who owe the banks, our debt is mainly to investors and privat persons including MM and Provera.
