We should be really sharp with everything come the first classico. Of course, Barca should be better too. But we will have Sahin as well.

That was against barca, blood pumping faster than usual, more coolness as we move in the season.

if we can beat barcelona then we can beat anyone. its a mental block and challenge, if we surpass that, then we will feel confident and maybe back it up against anyone.

We need to score 2 goals, to save our asses, and it takes second to score a goal

We only need to win with any score but considering how we don't even get penalty calls in our own f*cking stadium it's pretty clear the ref will not do us any favours in Barcelona.

I told you guys already, we need to beat their 4-3-3-4 formation first An early goal would help us a lot otherwise they'll turtle with backpassing

If we actually get a goal early this will force them to go forward opening space. We'll then counter hard, there defense atm is weak which is to our advantage

Everyone that started last time will start next game too except for two positions. Di maria, Callejon, Khedira and Coentrao will fight it out for the two spots.

Squad for the 2nd leg:

Goalkeepers- Casillas, Adan, Tomas Mejias

Defenders- Carvalho, Pepe, Marcelo, Coentrao, Varane, Arbeloa, Albiol, Sergio Ramos

Midfielders- Khedira, Xabi Alonso, Granero, Callejon, Di Maria, Ozil, Kaka

Forwards- Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema, Higuain, Morata

My bet is in the final 15 minutes Mou will sub in Morata when the game is tied at 1-1, he'll score the winning goal

I'd sub Benz for Morata in 75-80th minute for real. Higgy hasn't recovered yet, at least Morata offers aerial options+poaching, very handy against turtling Farca

Sorry. I think everyone here though just jumped with the final realisation that the 3rd striker stuff was just crap, and Mou is gonna use Morata as backup this year. Seems like even though we had all those rumours of big changes, the summer window actually preserved our continuity and strengthened it, and apart from the Sarabia/Canales things, we actually didnt screw up this time.

Sorry, Supercup. Anyway. I dont think we will win, but I hope we do. My prediction is 1-1 draw, but going on penalties would be great. We have the best penalty lineup in the world, with Cristiano, Kaka, Xabi, Benz, and Casillas.

Morata is nowhere near ready for this kind of competition. Let the kid get some confidence in other La Liga games first if there's an opportunity... he didn't even travel with the preseason squad. Pique/Abidal will eat him alive.

Of course. But I think everyone is happy that the 3rd striker BS was just that and Morata looks like he will be getting some minutes and trust throughout the season.

I disagree, in final ten minutes when everyone is tired, place him in the box and play like when Adebayor was there, Benz and Higgy need support, he is the support I don't expect him to score or something extraordinary but given his size and aerial ability ( he is really good), the other guys could do some magic with his rebounds

As you can see we took over the midfield, it forced there attackers to the middle which hurt them.

It also clearly shows Alves marking Ronaldo. If we add Coentrao to the mix, him ronaldo and marcelo could cause headaches for him which will force pique out of position to help him out. This will open space for Benz.

It may cause our attack to be left sided but if that's of no use Ronaldo can switch flanks to confuse them.

Anyway if we can manage the same thing tomorrow against there A midfield then it will show we are more than ready for barcelona and the new season ahead
