FINALLY "ESPINOSA" gets a Call for Spainish National team

4 Barca players, S. Gomez, Espinosa, Rafa Alcantara and Gerard Deulofeu have been called up by Spain for U19 European Championship.

`Notes:

- Barca B centre back and Spain U19 captain Marc Muniesa will miss the Euro U19 due to a hamstring injury, Muniesa is however likely to be part of Spain's squad for the U20 World Cup along with Sergi Roberto.

-Thiago was adviced to rest so he might not play with U-20!!

-Other Spain U19 players not in the Euro U19 squad but are likely to be in U20 World Cup squad are Isco, Koke and Amat.

- Ex Barca youth player, Liverpool's Dani Pacheco is also likely to be included in the Spain U20 squad.

Yes he was Spain U-19 Captain in Euro U-19 Qualifications month ago..

Muniesa is seen as Puyol's successorsince he was 15/16.. in 2009 he made his debut for Barca against Ossasuna in CampNou, when he wasjust 16 but he was unlucky to get a Red Card :S

yes its true..i'm happy that Thiago wasn't called, he needs rest, plus i want to see him playing in pre-season with first team we have matches against Man Utd, Bayern or ACmilan.. so its gd to see what he can do against such teams..

We will get to see Muniesa,Romeu & Sergi Roberto more.. Tello was called also, which is great to, lets see what he can do!!
I was expecting Planas(19, LB, Barca B ) to be called also:S he was very gd last season with Spain U-19 ( Euro U-19 2010, WC U-20 Qualifier tournament)!!

Bartra has been playing for first team for a while especially in Copa matches.. Montoya has proven how gs he is in Euro U-21..

Kiko who might join Barca is also called, so we will get to see him !!

Javier Espinosa out of the Spain squad for U19 Euros with injury. Poor lad never seems to get his big break at international level.

4 Barca youth players have been ruled out of Spain squad this summer due to injury. Muniesa and Montoya (U20 WC), Rafinha and Espinosa (U19 Euros).

Spain U19 kickoff their Euro U19 campaign against Belgium in the first group stage game on 20 July at 19:00 Beirut Time.

- Serbia and Turkey are two the other teams in Spain's group. 2 Barca player Sergi Gomez and Gerard Deulofeu in the squad. Javier Espinosa and Rafinha Alcantara, who were initially part of Spain U19 squad for Euro U19's, miss out due to injury :S:S Both Rafinha & Espinosa were Best U-19 Midfielders in Spain Last Season, lead Barca U-19 to win the treble with players like Deulofeu,S.Gomez etc..
