Meh, the skill is there. Ronaldo(the real one) was still able to dribble, the technique was still there although his shots are far away from what they were once.... and he is quite fat now

People, stop taking it seriously. Pelé is 70 years old. It's not like he's 40. Ronaldo Fenomeno is like 35, 36. That's insane to compare them, insane, just insane. He won't play, he shouldn't play. He'll be there as a mascot or something, I hope.

@Crimson, yes Santos' defense has been leaky, but who have we played against? Flamengo (2nd, unbeaten), Vasco (3rd), and well okay Atletico-PR suck, but the pitch was soaked, terribly bad, and we did play better, we lost in the last second, so that was up to chance..
The fact is that these teams are better than whatever will come our way on the semi-finals, and I don't mean to sound arrogant, it's just a fact. Of course, we might lose, just as a superior Internacional lost to Mazembe last year (And for the first time ever the final wasn't between the South American and Europeans ), but if you've really been following Santos you'll know that we have a good squad, we won the Libertadores, and this is just a bad phase because we started to take the league seriously much later than the other clubs. If neither Barcelona nor Santos reach the final, it'll be a shocker.

But dude it's Pele. He can do something even if it is not a lot.

not when you're 70, what speed do you have do dribble past defenders? what if they tackle you? he'd break his hips. if pelé stood still on the pitch, got a ball and had time to do something before puyol or piqué broke his legs, then yes he could send a great ball over to neymar or something. but it won't happen, and he'd destroy the mystique around him!
