So, some turkish news paper is reporting of Altintop intention of Leaving real madrid in january.

He supposedly had a telephonic exchange with galasataray coach and confessed to him that he wants to feel important, and he isnt happy with the back ground role he has in RM. he would wait till january to see how his situation evolve and what role he has in the squad and if it doesnt, then he would ask to leave...

did he not know he would merely be a squad player when transferring from bayern (where he was a squad player) to real madrid?

I figure we bought him for his versatility as a backup and to keep our younger Turks company. Zero chance he will be a prominent figure for us, bar injuries.
