It must be said that right now reais are at all time high for the past couple years and the Argentine peso looses out in the comparison, especially now. If you compare the amount made when the Argentine peso was artificially at parity with the dollar I would suspect to see the tables turned (again, only a guess, I have no idea what revenue was back then).

Re: Economic difference between Brazilian and Argentine leagues.
Can I ask something completely unrelated about Brazilian football?
What the hell does Tri mean? And dont tell me three, what is its significance? I get confused seeing it around. Dunno why I thought of it, mustve been written somewhere in this thread.

A treble? Funny, Ive seen it mentioned quite a lot, I thought it might have something to do with a motto or something. Anyway, thanks.

Re: Economic difference between Brazilian and Argentine leagues.
@Catracho This was one of my favorite lines in this thread.......We're a talent factory... the money just guarantees our factories never stop producing.
I have to agree that money doesn't guarantee success, I wouldn't argue that it doesn't help. But like others have said the deal is quite recent and things don't just happen overnight. It's obvious the talent and quality has always been around in Brazil.
If my mother is Brazilian, my father is Italian and I was born in Florida, what does that make me? What club do I get to be in.
