both koreas, japan, aus, new zealand beats whoever comes 5th. they might as well not waste their time with these matches.

Really? Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Oman, and Qatar can all easily give those teams a run for their money.

I think you're underrating the other teams man. Qatar (which is the weakest team out of those that I have mentioned) gave the strongest team you mentioned (Japan) a run for their money in the Asian Cup. It was only a last minute winner from Japan that allowed them to beat Qatar.
Saudi Arabia, Japan, South Korea, Australia, and Iran form the top tier of Asian teams. Qatar, New Zealand, Iraq, Oman, Bahrain, and North Korea form the 2nd tier imo.
But either way, Any of the teams mentioned in this thread can beat any Asian team.
Edit: New Zealand are in Oceania, not Asia.

Re: World Cup 2014 Qualifying - Asia
Given that my country (Philippines) has already taken one hell of a step (3-0 down against the 100-ranked team in the world is already big, no kidding), I can now focus on seeing the other matchups
I hope Bahrain make it to the WC Proper this time, in addition to the usual giants. If not them, then Saudi/Iran.
