OT: Toulon tournament
Just finished pool play and the semi-finals are as follows:
France v. Italy
Mexico v. Columbia
This is a U20 tournament mostly that brings very good talent from all across the world. Very prestigious and you often see the best the participating countries have to offer. For France, since i know them lol, the players that have garnered not are:
Steven Joseph-Monrose - He has been absolutely brilliant. Scored 3 goals in 2 games, one of which was an absolute technical masterpiece (scissor kick). Plays for Lens, who got relegated from L1 this year unfortunately. Highly likely a big club picks him up this year.
Damien Le Tallec - Formed at Rennes where he never got a chance. Went to Borussia Dortmund this year, where he scored 12 goals in 30 games with the B team. Went up to the A team and didn't score in 8 appearances. He's very active and good technically. Trying a bit too hard in this tournament. Has done everything possible but score so far.
Loic Nego - Defender for Nantes. Member of the U19 2010 European Champion France team. He's going to be a star unless something strange happens. Fast, physical and confident. Nantes, Auxerre and St Etienne have been the best youth programs historically in France. This is again one of their products.

This is the year he needs to break through... he's now 21. Hopefully, he does it at Dortmund.
