You must realize you are part of the problem. The club is basically bankrupt! The rules are in place to stop clubs from being bankrupt (or getting deeper into bankruptcy) and not be able to pay their players. Yet you and other fans keep insisting on acquiring better players that club can’t afford and there goes Laporta trying to pull levers or whatever to keep you happy.

That hasn’t always been the case. The previous management was criminal in what they did, especially what they were paying Messi (in comparison to club’s revenue and other players. Laporta is trying to recover, but it’s his statements that are comical. The situation won’t improve for several years.

No Laporta is making these signings to win elections. They are leaking these names to the media and generating hype, not the other way around.
