which stage of grief is this?

My view;

City - improved primarily on Haaland. Clear favorite for both EPL and CL.

Pool - so far looks like declined, but that may be due to injuries. Too soon to tell.

Bayern - too soon to tell and no reliable data on Bundesliga weekly beatings.

PSG - better, not by signing but by improved Neymar, Messi, Ramos plus retention of Mbappe.

Real Madrid - better in terms of midfield and Defense depth, but still dependent on very thin forward line.

Chelsea - declined

Tottenham - can’t really tell. Looks about same as last year.

Barcelona - definitely improved. How far they can go is largely unknown at this point.

Arsenal - definitely improved, should challenge in EPL and should be early favorite for EL

ManU - definition of a club in crisis. Wouldn’t take much to improve on last year, but here we are questioning signings and coach once again.

Top spenders are;

Chelsea - 173M
Man U - 145M
Barca - 127M
(And all three of them are not finished yet!)
Arsenal - 119M
Tottenham- 89M
PSG - 63M
Bayern - 42M

And City, RMad, Liverpool actually made a profit on sales! And I would suggest these three are likely the top contenders for CL!

We are the masters of overpaying both in transfer fees and wages, thats no secret, but keeping them insane prices aside, how have we not improved from last year?
Antony, I dont know, honestly dont have any sort of confidence of him justifying that price tag. But as far as improving our first team, thats easy lol. He just has to be better than Rashford.

Pep said Silva will stay only a day or two ago. I don't think there is any possibility in him joining Barça. Besides, City would need a replacement in line and things are not possible so late in the window.
