obvious answer is...strong scouting and ties to the region I guess

don't see how Juve can afford him unless they can offload some players + cash? which seems feasible since you have a lot of fodder

Fiorentina's scouting and youth setups are great in general

Chiesa, Sottil, Maleh, Castrovilli, Bernardeschi, etc. all are either important players for them or got them a lot of money from their academy

Vlahovic, Milenkovic, Dragowski are some recent ones that were signed for minimal fee and make the spine of their team.

Yeah, looks like it. Last night, Fiorentina's DS was on a tv show and said that they had important offers (probably from Arsenal), but the player's agents are ghosting them and they can't afford to lose him for free. Basically, begging Juve to make an offer, lol

They offloaded 80 mil at the end of August, Ramsey is supposed to leave, de Ligt looks like he wants to leave, there are a bunch of others with expiring contracts: Dybala, Bernardeschi, Cuadrado


BTW, for those mentioning Piatek, he just moved a couple of months ago to Fiorentina

Fiorentina might not like Juve but they sold their best players to us in the past for reasonable price and now lost control of the situation. In fact seems like Vlahovic's case is exponentially a concern for Fiorentina and we have the upper hand in negotiations based on the fact that he only wants Juve. I read 70 millions but we will never pay that lol, more like 40-50

For a transfer this winter we have to pay extra fee but it's worth the risk trying to save our season. Not only to fight for the title but also we have to look behind. Our current forward options are less than reliable. Vlahovic can score goals and carry the ball, create space for Dybala, in many ways he can help.

Anyway you should sign directly the Fiorentina scouts, at least you' d save much money every session

Good move. Since Ronaldo left we needed a goal scorer even more than a midfielder. We lack end product so much, always clogged around the box, hesitate passing, not attempting shots. Vlahovic has many qualities not only in finishing and easier to play with than a struggling Morata.

And i'd be curious to see a partnership with Kean if Max is ever willing to try that. 2 strikers who are fast and strong

Next summer funds. Also, Ronaldo sold, Morata will be shipped back, soon Ramsey and one other banter midfielder will be offloaded. The finances are being straightened.
