Dusan Vlahovic
Refused to renew his contract with la Viola. It's expiring in 2023. He's 100% getting sold in January or next summer. I think he'll be a star but needs to choose his next destination carefully.
Anybody that wants Haaland and won't get should probably be in for this guy.

Since Haaland will be impossible for Liverpool, this guy will be my next pipe dream in terms of transfer to Liverpool. I am totally sold on this guy that he will be a superstar.

Re: Dusan Vlahovic
Juventus offered Vlahovic a 5 year deal worth 6mln€/season.

Re: Dusan Vlahovic
I think this lad is a 50/50 to be honest. As he is now, he is not that impressive, with a lot of inefficiencies to his game. However, if he has the correct mentality and luck with injuries, I think he can develop into a world-class striker.

He's rejected a 4.5m p/y salary
Why would Juve even want him with Kean, Dybala and Morata? Makes 0 sense
I suspect he's Atleti bound since they were mostly interested in him in the summer.

Because we need a goal scoring ST. Morata (if bought)/Kean will be played on the wing alla Ronaldo.
We were asking for him whole summer, I doubt we’ll miss an opportunity like this. I’m not saying it’s a 100% transfer just stating my opinion

15 goals in 17 games so far in Serie A
after Haalaand and Mbappe he's the next big thing I guess?
guy has that killer instinct from what I've seen

Probably out of our price range by now.
That's 32 goals this calendar year as a 21 year old. He is becoming a pretty absurd player.

Re: Dusan Vlahovic
Vlahovic value is on the rise but he refused to renew his contract which ends in 2023. So this winter is the last mercato Fio will have the upper hand. Maybe we can scam them and include Kulusevski if the price is too high
The risk is always some big gun from Premier League will bid for 100 millions but that would be deluded on their part.

I haven't watched Juventus in some time now, but it feels like some people on here were hyping up Kulusevski not too long ago. What happened to him?

Tbh I've barely seen him. I'm just cautious of these eastern European one season wonder strikers.
A new name comes out every couple of years that gets people thinking they might be the next Ibra, but then they flop in their big move.
Arnautovic, Jovetic, Schick, Jovic, Piatek etc...
Even older guys like Kalinic too.
The list goes on maybe I'm missing a few more.

How much is it down to them potentially just picking the wrong clubs or set ups? If he goes to City I have a hard time believing he wouldn’t be banging in goals with the creativity they have and will have a good environment to succeed.
I guess for people who have seen him right now is he similar to Ibra/Lukaku type or a Lewa/Benz?

He's outperforming his xG by 6 goals, and 5 of his 15 goals this season are from penalties. The xG reaper is going to catch him.

Re: Dusan Vlahovic
@Winter i don't think he is anything special like those guys you mention his profile is more a Mandzukic. Fast, good to carry the ball, good finishing.
@Casciavit i am not familiar with advanced stats. xG takes into account the difficulty of a shot ? From what i understand a lower xG is not necessarily negative ?
Anyways i'd be curious to see the stats of Morata

Re: Dusan Vlahovic
It more or less indicates how likely a player is to score from a shot in a given area.
If a player is outperforming his xG it means they’re scoring from more difficult areas. Now on one hand you might think that means they’re a clinical finisher.
However, if a player is heavily outperforming it unlike any other previous time in their careers then it often means they’re just on good form and it is not sustainable. Historically, Vlahovic has been underperforming it, but now he’s overperforming it by 5-6 goals. He’s young so he could be seeing an improvement in his finishing, but those numbers sound a little extreme to me.
That’s just the xG from the shots he’s taken. If you look at the xG of the actual goals he’s scored it probably paints an even worse picture.
So unless he turns out a prime Messi finisher then I don’t expect him to continue that scoring form. I haven’t seen enough of him, but if he’s stiff then it probably means he isn’t quick at getting shots away and lacks that explosion in the first few yards that elite strikers have. That doesn’t sound like a good fit for the PL.
Of course eye test reigns supreme and I haven’t seen enough of him to make an actual judgement but his advanced stats make me cautious.

Re: Dusan Vlahovic
Ok thanks that's what i thought. It can be good or bad depending on other data you got.
He's been linked to us for a while and from what i scouted Vlahovic is a good profile to associate with Chiesa. He helps on defense and once Fio have the ball he's rushing forward and he has shot power. As for his ceiling maybe a Mandzukic which is fine you just don't invest crazy sums in him.

Re: Dusan Vlahovic
Don't see much Mandzukic in him besides the last letters of his name.
He plays always attacking the goal, creates space for himself and takes a lot of shots. For a guy his size is fast and technical. Left footed, takes free kicks, and is overall good all-around.
Plays more like Suarez than Mandzukic imo.
His current form is probably an outlier but he isn't a 1 season wonder so far either. Last season he scored 21 goals in Serie A, this season he is at 15 already.
It's hard not to be excited watching a 21yo play like this. He has the confidence of a star.

Re: Dusan Vlahovic
Forgive me the balkanic bias but his profile tall, fast, involved in the game not just some poacher, it reminded me of Mandzukic. But maybe i am a little harsh it's true that Mandzu never scored that many goals.
It's quite clear we need a forward (and a midfielder) it makes sense to buy someone already proven in this league. Price tag 50 millions it's reasonable. Do we have money for transfers ? Judging by our summer moves it doesn't seem like it
