...sign a 3rd CF, who would it be?

take some time to explain your choice. by 3rd CF im not thinking about Aguero or Neymar ofc, they arent 3rd CF material. mou made it clear he will buy someone, so no morata or joselu...

At this point let's say that Adebayor is front runner by default, but if you had your way, what would be your move?

Aguero because he is a versatile player who can really do it all. Can play outside as well. Plus I think he fits very good with Ronaldo and Ozil. I think we could use line ups with Ronaldo-Aguero-Benzema and Ozil behind them. Di Maria would still play alot also.

Biggest problem is Ozil took his #. It's all good tho. Ozil looks real good in that 10 jersey.

As a matter of fact wasn't it Ozil who said our #10 shirt was waiting for Aguero. Guess not anymore

Adebayor, kind of player that dosent demand much (on pitch I mean), good at air, technical wise (well sort of) and hes positioning is also good imo. He has hes ups and downs but hell be perfect for a 3rd striker imo.

It's not like last year where Higuain had a major injury. You have both Higuain and Benzema. If one gets injured, you have CR7 that can move there until you sign a 3rd striker. Even Kaka can fill in.

Benzema and Higuain with CR7 or Kaka as emergency backup is an amazing array of talent. You should also give Morata some mins here and there in blowout games to see what you have with him.

Complete waste of money to buy a 3rd striker.

Then sign Ade. He doesn't care about being the 3rd striker and he got along well with the team. It's not like he'll ever have to play... Oh wait, he got the most CF mins against Barca If you get Aguero, etc., all you're doing is creating the same problem down the line because benzema or Higuain will leave.

that's the charm of it, isnt it?

adebayor got all this minutes last season thanks to higuain being injured. He wont see much next season.

you have got to wonder, at 27, why isnt he aspiring for more? is it just about the money?

huntelaar and specially not cavani are 3rd CF material

For the time being we could use morata

Morata or Joselu for now should suffice as a 3rd CF, otherwise I wouldn't mind getting someone like Forlan or Drogba who are old enough not to inhibit our youth but are world class player with valuable experience who would offer alot to our team

Adebayor, if we get him for the price we are trying to then that would be great. For 7-10 million no one else is as good as Ade especially when we are talking aobout 3rd choice player.

Adebayor would be my last choice. Sorry but his wages are overkill. I'd never pay more than 2m for a bench player, and he wont lower his wages.

Morata is the perfect one.

The only problem you have with Morata as the 3rd striker is that he's not a candidate to start games with Madrid. He's truly just a youth developmental player. He was a very good 3rd division player in Spain... what does that tell you? Not much. If Mou wants a 3rd striker that can truly play at the Madrid level when called upon, then he should go get one.

I've always said that putting youth players on the bench is a waste for the player and the club. The only way they will learn and grow is by playing. That's not going to happen for Morata being the 3rd striker.

Anyone from USA can't make it in Liga yet alone in Real.

I cant help but think that Luis Fabiano would be a great player for the role. In his 30's, experienced lone forward, great finisher, goods movements and he knows a liga. i think he is injured now tho, and he is back in brazil.

Lissandro Lopez. He's a good technical goalscorer and I don't think he would mind playing as a 3rd striker and could easily step up in the absence of either Benz or Pipa if there was an injury or suspension.
