EURO 2020 - Group E

I can't get it in my head why you would just flat out refuse to play your best player by far.

Thiago is Spain's best player and it's really not even close. He's head and shoulders above anyone else.
Yet Lucho keeps ignoring him, and can't even win against Poland and Sweden? Jesus.

Spain and England are probably the most boring team so far in this tournament. Even Wales, Turkey and Slovakia play entertaining football.

Slovakia not a pushover either so Spain could be in trouble.

Thiago hasnt been that great since leaving Bayern though hes probably still better than pedri/rodri etc

I have to give to Spain. They make a real effort to score and still are boring as hell. I don't know whether it's the coach, the players or a bit of both. Sweden is also boring but they've got a game plan.

Apparently there will be changes to the line up for Spain.

Busi, Thiago and Azpli will return to the starting team.

Busquets like for Barça just aint cutting it for the national team either and even Thiago looks out of sorts. Terrible start so far but next came will be the difference for us.

I dont know why they bothered with all the groups, the only day worth watching is when Group F is on.

Group E to start the day, I dunno, something can happen if Spain win or Poland win or somebody wins.
I just hope all the Group E participants play nicely and clean football and that they enjoyed being part of the tournament. I really hope they all get a nice big participation trophy when the day is over, I hope all the other groups get nice participation trophies as well.

That was probably the best chance Slovakia will get all game, really shouldn't have score that.

Yeah, I am not sure Poland deserve that Participation trophy.

That Dubravka own goal is horrific. Like a volleyball spike into the net. It looked like he was trying to push the ball over the bar, but misjudged it massively. Rough.

Interesting to see Laporte scoring for Spain.

I guess he got blinded by the sun. Slovakia are struggling to touch the ball so the good news for the keeper he won't be the only culprit today. Spain playing their best match so far.

GOALS GALORE! All of a sudden it's 2-1 for Sweden vs Poland. Forsberg scoring all Sweden goals and Lewandowski did the same for Poland

Ferran scores 30 seconds into entering the game hasn't really impressed me playing on the wings with Valencia/City or Spain but has been good as a center forward should be benching Morata.

Ouch! How would Morata feel, the guy who subbed him scored instantly like that

Better second half for Poland, but Lewa cant do everything. Maybe give them the participation trophy based upon the second half performance.

WOW! Sweden scored with their last attack of the game. With the score being 2-2, if Poland scored, Sweden would fall to 3rd place. But Sweden scored after great work by Kulusevski to assist Claesson and regained their 1st place back from Spain. Incredible stuff
