Sassuolo have rarely been able to field front four of Berardi-Djurcic-Boga-Caputo all together this season but Traore has taken his chance and is only going to get better
We were linked with Traore ~2 years ago. Trying to do some signing him and leaving him on loan iirc. Interesting prospect, this season he has become more important and will attract a lot of attention soon enoug.

Re: Calcio Saga 20/21
Yeah, checking now it seems we have some kind of agreement about a future transfer for him.
Reading into their family they have an interesting story. It seems they came at ages 10 and 8 respectively for Hamed and Amad to Italy after leaving Ivory Coast. They've been shining at every level of youth football since. Last year a case of human trafficking was uncovered involving them, as their "parents" that brought them Italy were in fact not their parents.
In any case it seems courts ruled for tbe kids to be able to stay and they obtained Italian nationality. Amad Traore changed his last name to Diallo a few months ago to make all the more confusing.

Hamed Traoré's story is wtf
Not the first time it gets complicated with african players
But nothing will top when Juve tried to hustle Moise Kean's father over farming equipment

I remember when ppl didn't believe me on Handanovic, as if I was exagerrating about him
Fraud has been revealed to everyone
Alternative viewpoint: he's so experienced now that he knows when he won't get to the ball, so he is just sparing his old body. I remember Shaka Hislop saying some months ago that, when he got old, he could feel his bones rattling every time he dived

Re: Calcio Saga 20/21
At this point might as well retire lol
When the ball is in defensive zone a keeper must be active all the time, move to cover the angles depending on where the ball is. Keeper who relies only on diving is not trustworthy, and that's why i never really rated Handa as a top keeper.
He was always lazy in positioning, and now he is lazy even more. That is my take.
To expand on positioning. Hakimi's goal as example, nearly an unstoppable shot, but Lopez would have more chance to save it with a more advanced position. He did not go forward, can't blame him because of how unexpected the shot was. Still he dived and tried to make a save. Part of the duty of a keeper is also give confidence to your defenders, for moral and tactical reasons, it starts by at least trying. Second goal Handa conceded, he lacked awareness AND did not move.
Edit: just saw the replay and first goal was a deflection, ended up more precise than expected

Re: Calcio Saga 20/21
Interesting names in the Coppa Italia game between Milan and Torino.
Kalulu at RB while Calabria is continuing his midfield experience. Ibra is back and starting (wasted a glorious chance, and created several chances that missed for Leao and Romangoli).
Due to the makeshift nature of the team, we are not as fluid either in the press or the attack (Leao doesn't contribute defensively as much, and Dalot and Kalulu are much less accurate or driven than Calabria and Theo respectively).
My main worry so far is Tonali, who is being outclassed by Calabria (!!!) in midfield. Honestly, I thought Tonali was acceptable in all matches when Bennancer was available, it is only when Bennacer was injured that pressure crept into his game and he doesn't look the same. I see the potential there, and I hope he developes with Pioli and Milan.

Re: Calcio Saga 20/21
After four great chances for Milan before the 60th minute (two crossbars and two excellent reaction saves from Torino's GK) we didn't make much of a threat.
Match is going into extra time (which we REALLY DIDN'T NEED).

Horrendous refereeing.
Playing 120 minutes is exactly what a team running on fumes needs.

Torino came in for the penalty shoot-out and they lost it.
The best chances came in for Milan and we were unlucky not to score. Hope for better luck next match.
Kudos to Count Tatarusanu for the PK save.

After trying to postpone yet again another match with Juve, Napoli announces that they will play the supercoppa next week, since Lega denied their request

Torino is mostly hopeless, but they were extra hopeless without Belotti. When he came in he was clearly their best player and the only one that seemed able to play for something other than penalties. In the end Milan deserved it.
Have to say I'm surprised that Pioli didn't rotate more for this. Would have expected Maldini, Hauge, and whatever other kids Milan has.

Our next match is on Monday, so no urgent need for rotation. Obviously, the intent was for Ibra to have 45 minutes, and Calabria (who almost always is one of our most active players) on 60 minutes.
What was out of the plans was the extra 30 minutes that Theor and Kessie played when they got in.

Inter almost got what they wanted (losing Coppa Italia on penalties) but Lukaku ruins Conte's plans with a header in the 118th minute.

It is Inter, not Bologna
Losing on purpose just to have a slight edge on fitness is such a beta-cuck mentality, i don't believe they would fall this low

JUVENTUS (4-4-2): Buffon; Wesley, Dragusin, Chiellini, Demiral; Bernardeschi, Arthur, Bentancur, Portanova; Kulusevski, Morata. All. Pirlo
GENOA (3-5-2): Paleari; Goldaniga, Bani, Dumbravanu; Ghiglione, Rovella, Lerager, Melegoni, Czyborra; Scamacca, Pjaca. All. Ballardini
First starts for Dragusin and Wesley, maybe also Portanova, but he has played more.

Kulusevski nice run and finish by Morata too
Hell of a start, 2-0 in 20 minutes and Kulu should have scored his second already.
