Potentially 5 guards/2 centers ratio, as it was last year

It has nothing to do with positions in fact, it's about the amount of active players each night. On a saturday it will be 12 vs 12. If you have 12 active players for 15 total, and someone is out last minute, you still have only 3 on the bench. While with 10-5, you have extra 2 on the bench to adapt.

Probably i'm not being clear, leave it like that, the problem will highlight by itself.

There's not a 5/2 ratio. There's a 3/2 ratio in your suggestion and a 2 guard for 1 C in mine. That's what I'm saying.


If your roster consists of 15 it will hardly ever make a difference with 12 players on the active roster because most of the bench will be inactive. Only time when you'll be in trouble is holidays when every single team is playing.

You still have 5 extra non-playing spots each game. Because IL is there for injured. And bench otherwise.

In short: People here don't set teams every day or multiple times a day on here. Bigger playing rosters = people won't get screwed because they don't set multiple times a day when someone is out last minute because of Covid.

Your 13th rounder is out 2 weeks because he caught Covid... instead of leaving him on the bench and play with 4 reserves (bench) you must drop him for a guy who went undrafted in 15 rounds, because you need to fill 12 spots for saturday night

And again, not everyone here is active enough to replace them once they get it.

We got 15 rounds no matter what. You don't need to fill all the spots, because that won't be possible in most cases because only half the teams play each day.
