Real Madrid v Eibar
LaLiga and Real Madrid are finally back. I have missed football during this corona crisis
Everyone are back in training bar Jovic and Nacho
We can now make 5 subs from what i understand. Sure to keep all attackers happy
We will be hoping to see Barca drop points tonight so that we can retake top spot

Yeah.. there was no chance they’d lose or draw against Real Mallorca Looking forward to our match, though.

Yup not a chance. Hoping Sevilla can step up for once and take points away from them

Exquisite finish by Kroos for the first goal. Benzema looks slow and rusty, doesn’t show any fight to chase down the ball when it’s possible for him to pick it up with a little more effort. Courtois has dealt well with what little he’s had to deal with. He was unfortunate to concede a goal just now. Looked like it deflected and wobbled awkwardly towards him. Golfer Bale comes on.

Meh second half but we were clearly running down the clock. We have to play Valencia in 4 days
I would start Hazard, Benz and Vinicius against Valencia. Hazard can roam around as he pleases
As long as Valverde starts we are beating Valencia

Re: Real Madrid v Eibar
I can’t help but notice the lack of sharpness in many players in this post- lockdown football. I’ve watched quite a few Bundesliga matches already, and football just isn’t quite the same as it was earlier in the season.
Even players that are normally quite tidy in their passing and possession game look like they’ve only just stepped out of retirement, or something. I suppose it’s to be expected, but it’s still a bit frustrating to watch. We actually looked sharper today, than most of the other teams I’ve watched recently. That’s a good sign, at least.

You’ve got to be kidding. 3 months off! That more than they get normally over summer. What do you expect? The rest of this is like August / September normal performances.

Yeah, like I said, it’s to be expected. I don’t blame the players, at all. I’m just a bit disappointed that this is likely what the rest of the season is going to be like. I looked forward to being able to watch football again, but it’s a step down from what we’ve become accustomed to.
Even the normally quite timid, Martin Ødegaard threw his hands up in the air and shouted «vamos! vamos! vamos!» at his team mates earlier. Many of them looked out of steam before half time. Some of the Bundesliga games I’ve watched recently, have been sunday league quality.

Re: Real Madrid v Eibar
Good game all round.
Rodrygo and Hazard were great on the wings.
Would have subbed Modric at the half for Valverde.
Hopefully Carvajal isn't injured. Mendy looked uncomfortable at right back, but did the job.
Kroos as usual, just class. Great passes as well during the game.

Everyone including us fans are rusty, it's to be expected. I was actually surprised with our first half, didnt expect us to keep that for a full 90. But 3 points is 3 points. The good thing is, opponents are rusty too.

Re: Real Madrid v Eibar
Well, gonna take me a while to get back into football viewing mode but glad to be back.
Took in this match in its entirety and it was to be expected. Surprised with the win tbh but 3 points is 3 points regardless of the style of win.
