Montella straight up failed with Fiore. Iachini at least steadied the ship and has them looking better.

A squad that exciting shouldn't be in the lower half of the table. It's good all around with some great players.

yup i agree - even with young / great prospects its not like they are being introduced or thrown to the wolves now .... they have been exposed to the senior level games last season or even the season before under pioli...

surely that fiorentina team shouldnt be at lower half of the table.. and also lets not forget ribery was also playing. they should be in the mix along with roma atalanta for 4th spot wit the squad they have atm ; Dragowski i seriously lost count how many times he bailed fiorentina - it could have been much worse

Dragowski is an excellent talent. He is one of the ones I pointed out here when Roma went on to sign Olsen and Lopez. Strange and expensive goalkeeping choices when better alternatives were available.

ye - he is one of my top gk in serie A just a guy who can count on as last line of defense - that is not a df itself but as gk he really can save you games!

i wasnt familiar with milenkovic but fiorentina winning 3-1 against us that game milenkovic was savage! he didnt let anyone even have a sniff at shot on goal .... ; another great defender with career ahead of him.

castrovilli is no joke - this player is a player that reminds me of iniesta ... pure talent and i think i already said this but castrovilli was a dancer before he chose career as a footballer and he said that he would have become a professional dancer if his football career didnt kick off - ; deserves long term contract deserves to play in NT ahead of players like jorginho

chiesa i can see him end up either in EPL or juve XD comisso has been trying all he can to convince him to stay long term but looks like he is as good as gone ... he had some problems pointed at him about him being unfocused due to lack of commitment during pre - season or start of the season. but anyway really he is as good as gone ... unless fiorentina offers him crazy money

fiorentina atm reminds me of early napoli full of talents emerging - and they have owners like similar personalities - if fiorentina gets to commit their bright talents on long term future they are really set for the future. though i am more worried about commisso than fiorentina club lol ... he really was pissed about fiorentina council not allowing the stadium project to go ahead in which he threw tantrum about not allowing investments that he wanted to do

Yeah Chiesa would already be at Juve if Comisso hadn't arrived. He made not selling Chiesa his "flag" for his start at Fiorentina. Hope it still happens, if covid didn't strike I'd think its a given, but now the market is stuck.

Mandragora injured his ACL yesterday, we were set to activate his buyback, not sure what happens now. I'd guess we still activate it but now his future becomes problematic.

Castrovilli deserves hype and Vlahovic is another one that I rate

there was some news about juve looking at signing chiesa as a post douglas costa replacement - and pre agreement already made with him / his dad enrico and juve. i dont think chiesa will stay in fiorentina anyway - he wants to win serie a and play in CL something fiorentina cant offer right now i think thast the only problem . unless they sort of insert clause saying ok stay us for a while but if fiorentina cant get in CL by next season u can go for this amount.

heard about Mandragora and aware of buyback clause looks like juve wanted to do this so that they can sell again - milan is one of the club interested at region of 25 million - great player . really juve can use instead of matuidi or khedira - though ye dunno how or what his future is going to be now he is out for 4-5 months ...

Chiesa is good - i like him - he is under scrutiny because of his famous dad man lol - his pace though freaking reminds me of giuseppe signori at his prime

dragowski is not exaggerated at all .. at empoli he was doing excellent and he has kept same level of consistency and expectations ; i would have him in a heartbeat if we were to loose donnarumma this summer

Malinosvky has missed just 2 games all season, he always plays. He rotates Ilicic and Papu, together with Pasalic. Very competitive positions for Atalanta.
