Dont think its a rigid formation. Isco pops up everywhere. Modric is there doing feck all. Casemiro is playing furthest back while Kroos is taking up his usual pseudo left back position

Valencia have been a let down. Like they cant even find a white shirt at all. Their keeper is terrible too and still Jovic can't score from an open net :facepalm:

Honest question, what does Valverde bring to the first 11? He seems like a very simple and clean player which can be an excellent advantage i understand.

This game isn't doing Valverde any favours. He is playing as an almost RW. When we hopefullt take out Modric and put on Rodrygo/Vini he will go back to his CM position

Definitely long term starter already replaced modric in the team, he is a fan favorite from what I can tell inside and outside of spain.

He has alot of upside imo, can be complete mid in a couple of years.

Yeah is a cm(b2b) and can fill in at dm, very versatile, pacey and physical, he can only get better hopefully.

He is effective, I’ll give you that, but spectacularly, no way, at least not yet. I did say long term, he is definitely a keeper. However he is not spectacular! Our midfield will be completely revised over the next couple of years and I’m sure the club will easily be able to bring in 3 midfielders more spectacular than Fede. Thus my statement of long term squad player.
