Re: Arsenal Vs Valencia
Encouraging half, Valencia attacking hard and dangerously but 1 dimensional, double down on right flank and we have more chance to pin down their whole attack. Niles needs to be more conservative and push Kolasinac up for attack if needed

Re: Arsenal Vs Valencia
Not playing well at all, Emery can thank the individual quality of Aubameyang/Lacazette once again.

Re: Arsenal Vs Valencia
I’d rather face Chelsea than Eintracht’s crazy wing play against our defence. However the prospect of losing against our London rivals in a European final would probably kill me.

Re: Arsenal Vs Valencia
Is it weird that i’m more confident with Unai setup against big teams than small ones? He did his homework today

Re: Arsenal Vs Valencia
Like i said earlier, Arsenal just a different team in the EL
I don't know why?
Is it that the competition is not as good? but that can't be it since Napoli and Valencia are both great sides.
Maybe European football just suits us more since we don't face the same physicality.
Either way what a fantastic away performance tonight. Aubameyang's hattrick, lacazette's contribution. Our defending was great as well after the first 20 minutes.

Re: Arsenal Vs Valencia
everything we touched turned to gold
But Valencia/Napoli would finish 8th-11th in PL
But we take it

Re: Arsenal Vs Valencia
I think PL has up their game and all the league struggle has helped us tremendously. Valencia, Napoli and Barca CL games have shown their teams mentally struggle once put under immense pressure or at disadvantage.

Re: Arsenal Vs Valencia
Maybe it's just a mental thing.
It's possible that for the last few weeks we've been focusing more on this competition than the PL. Even though we had something to play for in the league, it's impossible to get to the latter stages and not be thinking about it. Subconsciously, some players may have held back so they don't get hurt.
That's my theory, anyway. We were shite at BATE and Rennes, but as soon as we got to the latter stages and the standard of opposition increased, we raised our game.
