actually disgraceful
and if you go back and look at a lot of Liverpool games where they got lateish winners, you'll find similar ridiculous calls in their favour
honestly for as good a season as they're having point wise, they're incredibly lucky, maybe more so than I've seen from any side in a decade

We are the most unlucky team in this season in terms of referee decision. I know many suffer here with short term memory decease.
Proud of this team for taking it to the final day

not that it matters anyway because barca are through and city will win the title but talking about that soft freekick on fabinho did anyone see messi punch fabinho in the head to get his freekick the other night. and he moved the ball forward to take the freekick. sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you dont.

Shit keeping from Lossl puts United 1-0 up. That's game over, then.
Shame I can't switch over to Chelsea/Watford.

Watford are doing well against Chelsea. They've had some tidy exchanges on the edge of their box, but have yet to create one good chance. Chelsea haven't made much, either. Only the odd half-chance here and there.

Chelsea suck but are still in it. This game screams of a Hazard solo goal / carry job.

Huddersfield have scored.
As it stands, United are out of top four contention.

FFS 3-0 now, Chelsea increasing their GD is crucial. Even with a draw against Leicester they finish in the top 4.

United are the new Liverpool now, no doubt.
With Moyes you could say it was the wrong appointment, it can happen, nothing that can't be reversed.
With LVG you could say his philosophy doesn't fit United or the EPL plus he's outdated.
With Mourinho you could say his time is up, he is a dinosaur.
And now they've appointed a numpty from the Norwegian League.
Where does United go from here?

Huddersfield have 14 points in 36 games and they had lost their previous 8 games. Unbelievable that United cannot beat that while fighting tooth and nail for CL spots. UNBELIEVABLE.

Man U will just have to learn how to live in the shadow of Liverpool and city. It can be done as you would know after living in the shadow of Madrid all your life.futbol wrote:United are the new Liverpool now, no doubt.

RLC>Pogba?
What an immense performance by RLC coming in for Kante, his first touch, strength, size, and speed is something else in midfield.
Big thing with him is staying healthy, after Hazard he is our most dangerous player on the ball.

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion Part III
This might be an oversimplification, but it doesn't matter who United have as manager until they start investing smarter. Same with Arsenal and Chelsea now as well. Fred and Sanchez were poor buys and they've been reliant on ageing players for too long without replacements.
I predict that they'll improve next season with some good signings, specifically at right back, centre back and centre midfield. Lingard, Rashford, Martial and Lukaku is a good enough attack to get top four, but what's behind them isn't.
