Re: LFC Season 2018/2019
We were the better team for 70 mins of the game Barca just took their chances and they had 2 late goals which 1 was a lucky deflection and last one was a free kick, we created a lot of chances of which 3 were sitters and you still blame Klopp. He can't put the ball in the net himself if his players miss 3 sitters

Re: LFC Season 2018/2019
How is it Klopp's fault when Salah misses an open goal from 3 meters and hits the post, or when Milner shoots straight at the keeper from like 5 meters, or other missed chances

Re: LFC Season 2018/2019
funny thing is we say that after we lose every big game. its like a big game comes around and we work hard. dont score and end up giving away 3 goals. its as predictable as death and taxes. we are losers mate just accept it.BusterLfc wrote:We were the better team for 70 mins of the game Barca just took their chances and they had 2 late goals which 1 was a lucky deflection and last one was a free kick, we created a lot of chances of which 3 were sitters and you still blame Klopp. He can't put the ball in the net himself if his players miss 3 sitters

seems to happen most times to us under klopp tbh. we always say we had chances and if we did this or that we would have won. but we never win. we lose our bottle in every big game.BusterLfc wrote:How is it Klopp's fault when Salah misses an open goal from 3 meters and hits the post, or when Milner shoots straight at the keeper from like 5 meters, or other missed chances

Re: LFC Season 2018/2019
This team is gonna be the best trophy-less team of all time. CL finalists last season, semi-finalists this season, possibly 97 league points with only 1 defeat. 0 trophies, this can only happen to Liverpool
Although Leverkusen 2001/02 were 2nd in the bundesliga, lost the cup final and lost the CL final
Real Madrid 2014/15 also deserves a mention

Had time to calm down and think about it and in the cold light of day here’s my honest opinion on klopp and the team. Both of them are the biggest let down bottle jobs in history. Most over rated bunch of turds in the world. We keep making these scrub 1 Man teams look like world beaters when we should be ruining them. Most managers get stick or even the sack for being a loser not klopp though. Every single game he plays where you would say this is like a cup final we choke.

We were on top for large parts of the game at Camp Nou, you have to be a very good team to do that. We created a few chances to score, but the players didn't take them. I haven't always been the biggest fan of Klopp, but we are a very, very good team this season. Just unlucky to face a historically brilliant Man City and a Barcelona side with the greatest ever player in it. Disappointing to still have no trophy to show for the quality of this team, but we're in a good place right now.
The big challenge for Klopp now is to keep this going for another couple of seasons. Age - the biggest factor in players and teams decline - of our key players is not a problem for another couple of seasons, it's just a question of motivation.

Re: LFC Season 2018/2019
Speaking ahead of his side’s trip to the No. 5’s old home, St James’ Park, Klopp was questioned on his plan for the deficit in Catalonia, describing it as a “big task” to fill Firmino’s shoes. “It was quite a big task. I told him ‘what does it say about you?’, he said ‘I don’t know’, and I said ‘you can play everything‘,” the manager told reporters. “For different reasons, he needed 35 minutes to adapt to it but second half was really good.
“We needed this kind of player, an offensive player who is quite good in defending as well.
“Then we needed a player between the lines that was good enough to keep the ball, pass the ball.
“I know to people outside it’s easy to say ‘use another striker’, but there are different jobs to do on the pitch.
“Gini did really well, in a game like this, in a all space, in a new position for him, he knew about it and he’s the player to do it.
in what world do you play with no striker and replace him with a midfielder that dont get goals. the stupid *bleep* spends 3 years building a team that plays a certain way then pulls this shit in the most important game.

Re: LFC Season 2018/2019
I felt that we were gonna score on that exact freekick, and that Origi was gonna be the one who scores, and like 2 seconds later it happened .. Imagine if we somehow win the PL, Origi's goals vs Everton and Newcastle would be huge

I dont know about others but I am feeling happy that finally we have a team who is pushing so hard till the end. We just have to keep doing this and be around in the title mix for next 2-3 seasons, the title will surely come.

Some people forget how big of a shit show Klopp turned around into a great team. To do that in a club with self sustaining model is great, if it wasn't for Klopp and Edwards I think we would still be a europa league team. This team is young and imo hasn't peaked yet, which is a good thing.

people also forget that a firmino injury means we had to play gini as a striker in a UCL semifinalBusterLfc wrote:Helmer wrote:I dont know about others but I am feeling happy that finally we have a team who is pushing so hard till the end. Re: LFC Season 2018/2019
Honestly I'm dying inside, how are we going to get this many points, how did we only lose one game and we still probably won't win the fucking league.
Honestly if city keep at this pace and keep spending the money they do without having to sell anyone then what's stopping them from doing a Juve.
That's the funny part , all the other top six clubs supporting them is pretty much just accepting the domination for years to come.

Firmino is ruled out for tomorrow, Salah is a major doubt, likely to miss the game as well
