United are rediscovering that annoying Fergie-era tendency to score late goals. It's as irritating now as it was back then.

What a game. Relieved to be won it, really. Props to Soton, they were equal to the task.
And Pereira ma boy. Tells a lot about football fans of today, they were abusing and calling him to never play for us again after that mistake he made against Burnley. Hopefully Ole can continue giving him minutes in place of Sanchez/Mata.

Small pet peeve but I really thought Paul should have given Lukaku the PK for his hattrick. Doubt it's a big deal or a even a deal as 3 points was got (also, they be bros).

I think Lukaku was even greater. He scored two goals that you'd consistently want him to score. Top finishes, with his weaker foot too.
Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion Part III
Just won 100 quid on a United comeback. Would’ve won a small fortune if Pogba had let Lukaku take the penalty to get his hattrick

games like this are always going to be a testing period for us with the injuries we've had to the core Ole's been using, if we cna just navigate through these fixtures until Martial, Matic etc are back
next game vs Arse is massive. despite smashing them recently I'm not that confident.

credit Lukaku, much harder to defend when he has become such a threat with his right foot

Pogba has to find a new way to take pks quickly. This slow motion shit is so predicable. Always gives the keeper a chance to save those.

Considering the circumstances, would you be happy with a draw? I would, personally.Firenze wrote:games like this are always going to be a testing period for us with the injuries we've had to the core Ole's been using, if we cna just navigate through these fixtures until Martial, Matic etc are back

We’re missing too many first team players, it will be very difficult against Arsenal. I’d be very happy with a point.

And perhaps CL.
They technically have the talent, i just feel like Pep is going to do something stupid with lineups because he's overthinking the game and it costs them.

for the PL? ya
for the CL? OUT
they've struggled against numpties this season in the CL, if they win it'll be a fluke due to how shit other teams are and teams like us and Juve drawing other elite teams to thin the comp out for them

I mean them struggling away isn't really relevant tbh lol, Pep struggled away in CL with prime Barca lol.
Don't see how they don't have the team to win it tbh, like i said i wouldn't be surprised if Pep does something stupid like he did last year but they are capable.

Struggling away does actually impact my view on them winning it all under Pep. They have the squad to literally win every competition they are in but that away form in the CL, oof.

I mean yes i agree, but that isn't a show on them as a team but more so Pep's inability to do so as a coach as his history shows.
BTW you guys being critical of their team have outed you as losing any credibility for criticism tbh for Pep.
I'd use your words more wisely in the future, Great Leader Sprucenuce is always watching.

I didn't shroud my opinion in fake criticism of City as I definitely was criticising Pep. The Doc never hides his opinion.
