The point was that we are easily a top 3 team under Ole. Spurs would walk Serie A tbh. PL is just that strong. UNreal depth. Burnley beat you too.

Somehow we are not 6-0 up, only the guy we sold our souls to really knows how.

Indeed, him plus the young kid whose been playing recently are running things.
Unfortunately the donkeys upfront can't seem to remember the objective is to put the ball into net.
Rafa will have to give them some straw at half time to remind them of their job.

Ranieri wasn't a good appointment. But maybe he was appointed for championship?

7 defeats in 9 for Leicester now...
If the helicopter tragedy hadn't happened, Puel would have been sacked by now.

I might be wrong but i doubt that has much to do it with at this point.
If they were going to sack him i think they'd do it, i think the main reason they aren't sacking him because there's no real pressure to make a change.
They aren't going down and they aren't qualifying for Europe so what's the point? unless you see an obvious successor you might as well leave it as is.

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion Part III
Reports this morning suggest Puel has been sacked. I'm guessing we'll get official confirmation before too long.
He's not a bad manager and is doing about as well as can be reasonably expected at Leicester. Fans have questioned his style of football and lack of charisma, so I suppose he didn't earn enough goodwill to survive some of their recent bad results.
Still feels odd, though. Leicester aren't finishing higher than seventh, so why not stick with a manager who can comfortably deliver mid-table? With so many clubs of Leicester's stature and ability in that part of the table, a top-half finish isn't a guarantee.

Everybody needs to make a statement. Strange decision indeed. But it's mainly about telling the fans they are doing something to get positive results back.

There we go:
Brendan Rodgers is one of the favourites to take over. I've seen Benitez's name come up as well.
Leicester City Football Club has today (Sunday) parted company with Claude Puel, who leaves his position as First Team Manager with immediate effect.https://t.co/VoZnGBJ8Up

I don't understand this decision. May be Paul underachieved a bit, but does it really matter if you finish anywhere between 7th and 17th??? Perhaps for midtable clubs 7-10 is like winning a trophy???Jay29 wrote:There we go:Leicester City Football Club has today (Sunday) parted company with Claude Puel, who leaves his position as First Team Manager with immediate effect.https://t.co/VoZnGBJ8Up

Not sure if Brendan or Benitez would achieve any better. For Rafa it would be a step-up though, Foxes do spend the dough.

Do they spend money though? sure doesn't seem like it.
More than us sure but that's not particularly difficult.

Between 7 and 17 there's a difference in the money you get from the PL, and I could imagine that difference is somewhere between 10m-25m so yeah it makes ahuge difference fo the clubs in question

Liverpool: Alisson, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson, Milner, Wijnaldum, Henderson, Fabinho, Mane, Salah, Firmino.
Subs: Mignolet, Keita, Sturridge, Lallana, Shaqiri, Origi, Alexander-Arnold.
get ready for one of my world famous rants later lads. manure are all about speed under oli so im not sure why milner is in for taa. anyway liverpool to not show up for a big game yet again.

Yeah OK 7-17 was a stretch. What I meant was 2-3 places don't make that difference. Also, I would assume, for 14 other clubs 7th is like winning the league.Hapless_Hans wrote:Between 7 and 17 there's a difference in the money you get from the PL, and I could imagine that difference is somewhere between 10m-25m so yeah it makes ahuge difference fo the clubs in question

Mata and speed
If Lingard and Martial were playing they would ruin your fullbacks tbh
Lukaku and Mata as their replacements is about the furthest thing from being a stylistic replacement ffs
