Wow that is the worst Chelsea performance I've seen in my lifetime.

Surely this is the worst they ever played in the Abramovich era? Or did Scolari and AVB have worse matches than this?

Welll this is the worst defeat they have suffered in the PL era, but it's a bit more understandable because of the gap in depth between City and Chelsea. Hazard is the only player who would have a rain drop's chance in hell of getting into that City team. Kante too.

Kovacic makes a MASSIVE difference in that midfield defensively. Sarri NEEDS to try Kova-Kante in a double pivot and play someone as a sole advanced midfielder. Bench Jorginho and Luiz FFS. why is this so hard for him?

Oh I know. Same way at Napoli as well. He never makes changes to his XI and rarely rotates.

Spurs 3-1 Chelsea (could have been six or seven, it was BAD). Bournemouth 4-0 Chelsea. City 6-0 Chelsea. Lost to Arsenal in general. 6th place.

Getting hard to justify Sarri at Chelsea. They've had some highs but when they've had lows, they've had some bad lows

After Hazard leaves for Madrid this summer, Chelsea are done as a top club. There's no investment in the team and they keep buying second-tier players instead of stars.

I know everyone is talking about Chelsea being shit. But the way City are playing is on another level. It will be interesting to see how long Liverpool last in the title race. It will be great if we can take it deeper and deeper in this season.

Excellent punditry from Jamie Carragher, his opening line in half time was - "It looks like Sarri has turned Chelsea in Arsenal"

thats why i said liverpool lost the title when we lost the game to city. had we won that game city would have give up on the lge and gone all in for the cups. as soon as they beat us they have got better and better and we have been half the team we were at the start. the city game was the cup final for liverpool.

Post by CBarca Sun Feb 10, 2019 8:26 pm

Btw, the idea Eriksen is less of a player than Bernardo or even David Silva at this point is hilarious.

Eriksen is right up there every season with Ozil and Hazard as far as chances created, assists, goals etc. and hes always passed the eye test. He's absolutely vital to Tottenham who have won four on the trot without Kane and dele. Carrying Llorente, Sissoko and Oliver skipp to wins.

Eriksen has been a top class AM for a years. Just because Levy rebuffs everyone who wants to even talk about an Eriksen transfer doesn't mean he's not as good. And Tottenham have been one of the best teams in the EPL the last couple seasons and he loves the team, it's not a stretch to say he hasn't wanted to leave because he wants to bring an important title to Spurs.

Why are we trying to punish a player because they aren't playing for City or Barca or Madrid? Terrible logic. Is Kane shit too because no teams have been in for him?

Some of the worst posting I've seen from Mole since Pardew Newcastle days.
