Re: La Liga 2018/19 Discussion
I think it's obvious now that not all corrupt refs were Refdrids, but some were also Fakenaldo fanboys. Years of choosing biased spanish refs may come to hunt RFEF, and Madrid now. Well I did see already a completely new face in GET-BAR so they might be on it already.Mamad wrote:The only thing worse than our team was the referee. Harmonica come and explain.

Seemed to me like most refs in La Liga didn't particularly like Ronaldo, but hey, I suppose that could be an explanation

Well some obviously did, and that's how he escaped 10 or so red cards from punching and kicking people.

The refs in Spain are by far the worst of the top 7 leagues. It has nothing to do with Real Madrid or Barcelona. The RFEF has been mismanaged for years.

Re: La Liga 2018/19 Discussion
Yeah, I don't think Scandinavian refs hold a particularly high standard, but it doesn't get much worse than La Liga by European standards. I honestly think it's quite baffling how incompetent some of the La Liga refs are. I realize that they have a difficult, unthankful job, but some of the calls and decisions they make are simply inexcusable at this level of football.

What is this guy named Erick Cabaco?
Were his parents like "should we name him Eric or Erik... Why not both??"

Murillo, Alena, Miranda, Chumi will not even make it at a Levante level club in the next 5 years.

Also what's up with Brazilians being so soft mentally? Benched for a few games and Coutinho looks like he wands to end his life.

This Barcelona team is full of physical and mental midgets. Pathetic play by Coutinho, Denis Suárez et al.
Re: La Liga 2018/19 Discussion
Watching the extended highlights, that could have been easily a 4-0 within the first 20 minutes. Fully expect Barca to turn it around in the 2nd leg but I think this would be the first and last time you'll see at least half of that line up in the Barca first team. Oof.

Can someone seriously answer me why Barcelona seemingly want Willian so bad? Why on earth would you swap Malcom for Willian?
Chelsea should be biting Barca's hand off for that deal.

willian is a good reasonable player, if you're looking for depth, he's also good at set pieces for the second unit. he's a winger not a wing forward, maybe they want him for competition for places since coutinho hasn't been all that this season.....i really shouldn't be speaking on them, my team has its own problems to deal with. i just had to comment because i like willian's football, most especially his technique which includes the set piece ability

Sevilla losing at Bilbao. Alaves drawing. Stage is set for RM to climb to 3rd place. Too bad that noob Solari will screw it up as usual

Sevilla losing in Bilbao is about as sure a result as you'll get.

6 - Sevilla have lost all their league games at San Mamés (new venue), more than other Athletic's opponent in the competition (six). Martyrdom pic.twitter.com/n5JmhOJd1N

When I saw that run of Atleti (H), Athletic (A) and Madrid (A), I knew Sevilla wouldn't get a single win, being the softies they are.
Hope Madrid enjoy the three points next week.

Re: La Liga 2018/19 Discussion
You mean the same Real that created history last week by losing to LaReal for the first time since 2004. We have a crap coach who'd rather fight against his players than for them. Meh, we'd do well to finish in the top 4 this season
