Viktoria Plzen v Real Madrid Empty Viktoria Plzen v Real Madrid

Post by halamadrid2 Wed Nov 07, 2018 12:43 pm

Before this season I would've debated with myself about how many goals we'd put past them now I am shitting bricks begging for us to win even an ugly win. Lopetegui Laughing

But hey Lope was the best coach these guys have ever had yet they couldn't be bothered to run for him EVEN in a Clasico

Remains to be seen if Solari has any balls or if he's cut from the same cloth as Lope. We need to shake this line up. Modric needs to sit, Bale needs to sit, Asensio needs to sit. We need to be brave and play players based on merit not based on the name on the back of the shirt

Enough is enough!!!

He doesn’t have much choice on Benz nor defense given injuries, however he could play a midfield of Ceballos, Isco, Casemiro along with Vinicius in place of Bale or Asensio. I don’t like the idea of Lucas starting over Bale! Or perhaps it could be Fede ( going with Benz and Vinicius upfront and 4 midfielders).

At this point, those are the only options in terms of personnel.

It's only Carvajal who said Lopetegui was the best coach he ever had. A bit desingenious to generalize it tot he whole team no?

Nacho in his presser yestersay:

For me, Lopetegui was a great coach, surely one of the best I've had, and I'm sure he will do well wherever he goes."

And we all know Ramos' opinion of him. Even Isco. Please all these Spanish players couldn't praise him any higher yet not one of them has impressed this season bar Carvajal who's perma injured anyhow

Talk is cheap, how many players defended him in the media, then jogged around aimlessly in el clasico?

Keylor on the bench for this one. It's such a joke.
I really don't get or understand what Keylor has done this season to get pushed to the bench.

We signed a keeper when there was no need to sign a keeper but yet we have Bale starting every match despite playing like shit.

There was a need to sign a younger, more talented and long term keeper. We did that and Keylor is now on the bench. It's really simple. He is to move on with his career.

Lucas Vasquez, what a guy, he just keeps playing

The need for a better striker, winger, quality backup for midfield (casemiro), and anyone better than Bale outweighed the need for a keeper.

It was literally one of the few positions we had the didn't need any changes.

Don't know what you're talking about. We signed a goalkeeper, a backup right back, a striker mascot and an 18 year old winger who arbitrarily works part-time for MacDonald's us when he's not being tossed back to our second team. The rest are Ballon D'or NOMINEES. Don't mind their age. Let that sink in for a moment.

Yes, it's safe to say that Navas hasn't been treated fairly this season. I would totally understand the situation if he was competing with Ter Stegen or prime Neuer. But he's competing with someone who has been plain average so far, except for the Madrid derby where he was excellent.

It's one of the downsides of having two equally talented goalkeepers where none of them is world-class and both are decent enough to start.

The wisest thing the club should've done was to sell Navas after signing Courtois, or never buying Courtois in the first place. Having the two at the same time will eventually create problems and poison the dressing room.

It was a dumb move, but then again, these are the same people who didn't replace Ronaldo, kept Benzema and thought Asensio would magically turn into a world beater. You shouldn't really be surprised by any dumb move our board does at this point.

I can’t see game today. I see they are up 2-0 with Kroos with assist on both. How is Ceballos playing in place of Isco and Modric?

4-0 and it's smooth sailing. Mind you Plzen really hasn't played bad, just clinical stuff from Madrid.

We always press much better when Ceballos starts. Time for Modric to collect his Balon d'or and retire on a high like Zidane. Also Rip Theo Hernandez. Reguillon could be a starter and we wouldn't even notice a huge difference from Marcelo. Nice half Benz, wish he played like this in the Clasico though. Vasquez>>>>>>Asensio. No matter how frustrating he is, he always wants the ball to take on players and pops up where you least expect him, not a pussy passing the ball back minute in minute out

Its his opinion . There are people who have won a lot with certain coaches, doent mean said manager is the one they like the most.

You play well and I guarantee you no one will even dare to criticize you. You play like shit and you'll get ripped apart.

Anyhow, I'm really satisfied with the performance, but I'll hold my horses and won't allow myself to get carried away given the caliber of the opponent. We'll see if they can keep this up and play like this on a constant basis and against tougher opponent.

I congratulate them for tonight's performance, they certainly have done enough to make me stand up and applaud them.

Vini really need to work on his decision making. His body works faster than his brain can think. Need to slow down and make the obvious passes

Hope we don't go to Celta just to play thr same stupid line up we played against Valladolid

I know we've criticised him alot but Kroos was immaculate today. Offensively and defensively

If he played closer to this level against opposition who's names don't instigate a google search, then maybe people wouldn't criticise him so much hmm

It's posts like these that push me at times into thinking that Thimmy should perhaps be arrested and tried for being an absolute savage.

Kroos should be arrested and tried for being such a savage against Victoryagainst MePlz. Benz too. Add repeated battery to his list of criminal offenses.
