Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion Part III
Özil created 4 chances today, more than anyone else on the pitch.
Can‘t wait for Paul Merson a lazy POS who flops in big games the next time we lose a big game.

if you had won tonight you would have been one point behind him.urbaNRoots wrote:He‘s the man.
Feels awful that we didn‘t sack Wenger when he was available. Might‘ve been us challenging City this year... oh well.

So 4 points off top 4 is not a crisis situation for Manchester United then?
I'm going to class this as pretty good management of expectations

Granit XHAKA had a superb match yesterday. Man of the match.
I have not still a clear idea about this player

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion Part III
A much better player with Torreira next to him.
Using XHAKA as a lone defensive midfielder was a mistake. He's a very clumsy defender who doesn't move his feet quick enough, so can be dribbled past or have fouls drawn out of him. His ability to recognise danger is poor.
But with Torreira there, he doesn't have to defend as much. Now all he has to do is retreat into shape without the ball and try and win a tackle when the spaces have been covered. Makes a big difference to his defensive output.
He's slow-footed, so he's a bit limited on the ball. Fortunately, the one thing he can do with the ball - passing - is excellent and important to how we play. And every now and then he bangs in a screamer, which is always fun.

One of the most complete midfielders in the league.
He is very much like Xabi Alonso but superior.

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion Part III
the one which was supposed to be shown at 13:30 was shown at 19:45 last night. So the one at your 4pm is non-tv match. one at 5 is the sky's 2nd match of the weekend

Is there always a non TV match on Sundays? And why would there be, when there's no other game on?
This is bullshit if you ask me, but then of course I don't care as I don't have to subscribe anyway.

Nah not always. Traditionally there are 2 matches on sundays and both are part of supersunday from sky sports. but often there is a 3rd match which is a non-TV. However if one of the sunday matches get show on either saturday lunch time or monday night football, then only one tv match gets shown on sunday.
If that makes sense.

Hope Pep decides on a new experience next season, title already wrapped up, they're just too consistent.
Needs to challenge himself with a club like PSG.
