Yup, Bill's boy was absolutely disgusting today and if the Madrid press were actually honest with themselves, there would have been calls for Ramos to see bench time just like calls for Benzema.

Terrible CB, great leader and Madridista but good Lord he is an atrocious CB. Makes Pique actually look decent (which he isn't either).

When you have a forward that took only 1 shot (which I cannot remember), didn't made an attempt to run at a player and didn't win a single aerial while simply being poor throughout his time, then he becomes part and parcel of the issue.

The majority of the blame still lies with Ramos, Marcelo and Kroos though. And Lope, definitely Lope.

Yes, Atlético's third goal. Varane lost possession and they immediately capitalized on it.

But still, it doesn't change the fact that Marcelo's amateurish defending has become more of a burden than his talent can handle.

I should also point out that Varane wasn't entirely to blame for the goal. It was Ramos who passed him the ball even though he knew he wasn't free. So yeah, ultimately, all roads lead to either Ramos or Marcelo.

Most of the goals so far came from the left side as it is easy to exploit the space between both Marcelo and Ramos. Ridiculously easy. Imagine I would live to see a CB supporting a FB on the wings, what a time to be alive.
