Out of his son, namely Lonzo who can really play... the other two are doomed imo (one has no talent; the other is a damn shame because he has a lot of talent but is being destroyed).

Lonzo with the shooting technique he showcased last season is going to have a really tough time remaining at the Lakers long-term.

Btw, should we have just one thread for this fantasy game and the nba? It's not like there's going to be different people discussing the game in these threads.

Not really, you have a good top 5 but it drops off pretty substantially after that.

If you look at the team stats with him on the floor both offensively and defensively last year... night and day compared to when he was out. All this despite his shot.

His form still isn't great. But he's stronger and he's shooting it... not flinging it as much. Looks better. Of course, better shooting shows up in FT percentage imo. So that will be the first indication.

He's already an all NBA defender, which is why he'll never be out of the league. Voters has a bias against him, and rookies in general for those awards.

He had the same advanced stats as Dejounte Murray, and both pass the eye test. Lonzo played 10 mpg more than Dejounte though and still didn't receive votes at all.

A defender on that level will always have a spot. Combine it with a generational passing ability. And his talent in blocking, rebounding and reading the game.

I really don't see anyone who's watched Lonzo for more than five games think he's not a great player.

He's got the exact same stats as Draymond Green all across the board, while being the best defender on his team. Difference is that people actually watch Draymond play and see his obvious greatness.

I don't think we need two threads for the NBA. It's gonna be the same people talking anyway. If people have to listen to me in two threads telling them how they were sleeping on Lavine and Olynyk, they'll probably quit both GL and the NBA fantasy. What a disaster.
