lmao if you say this what will you say about Mané?
Mane didn't cost his team at all
My comment was posted the moment Callejo missed. Mane missed later and it still would have matter. 2-1 was a loss for Liverpool

I think we're talking about all chances he missed here in total, still wouldn't really matter

Deserved win.
Wait what? Napoli crashing out of the group like a meteor entering the earths atmosphere? Who knew.
This is what they do for a living. Highly capable team, loser mentality. Never come back.

Re: Champions League 2018/19 | Group C
It makes me none the visionary at all as quite frankly I am terrible with predictions.
But when it comes to Champions League one experienced viewer may possess a feel for results incoming especially when he knows how teams transcend in their persona, mentality and disposition from their league to the grand stage.
This is why English teams will remain above Serie A teams and for one reason to which is their never say die mentality unless coached by the witless squad of current English coaches themselves ironically.
This has been happening for years with Serie A teams and not an indication of their quality, but their psych. Each and every match between Inter and Napoli had the makings of this coming conclusion.
Until these teams are not disposed of their bumpkin presidents, overly-passionate fan to player transfusion, and inferiority complex they will never win the Champions League no matter how far they go into it.

Re: Champions League 2018/19 | Group C
Our midfield was great and Henderson was the best of them imo, that's the best I've seen him in a long time. He can surely be useless against weak sides but in these games he's usually great. And Matip has been phenomenal the last 3 games he started, he's literally creating us chances with passes from deep

i don't buy this provinciale mentality for Napoli's game today. They've been in the game until the end with a huge chance by Callejon to end the game.
They had a very fragile lead going into one of the toughest stadiums in Europe. You can't expect to go to Anfield and outplay Liverpool. City, Psg lost here too

PSG won the group i'd like to point out.... and basically, they only showed up for the last 3 games with the world cup players on vacation until November more or less + Veratti and Silva hurt for the first few games too.

Re: Champions League 2018/19 | Group C
Anfield was not a cauldron tonight as it was expected. Half the time the Blue Tiger Ultras could be heard.
It is just this pre-meditated mentality they had to only have a draw that had them sit back through the entire game bar the last 10, similar to Allegri bringing in Barzagli to disrupt the 4 man balance to lose versus United.
You've seen these examples in Serie A teams countlessly.
Napoli dominated in the San Paolo versus, Parc Des Princes and at home versus them.
Anyone who expected Napoli to come out with a fearless display just has not been watching them under the Di Laurentiis era long enough.
Roma another shining example but their history goes further back in this.

lmao nice try, you barely made it through while getting owned even by Red Star.
Next round, all English teams will exit. Except if one of them meets Schalke, of course. Everyone progresses vs Schalke.

Re: Champions League 2018/19 | Group C
Arqi... I think you have to see how the teams are made up. You have almost all WC players on PSG and several on Liverpool. As you well know, in WC years, teams with players in that tournament almost always start slow. The key is to get results.
That's why i don't necessarily draw huge conclusions in the early months after a WC for the teams with such players.
