Three mins in. Firmino misses a 1v1, Salah then misses a tap-in.
Leicester's slow passing will play into Pool's hands.

A kid they signed from Charlton a few years ago who was playing as a full-back but was injured last season. He's a decent talent. Could be better than Lovren but I suspect he'll lose his place once Lovren is fit again.

So are Liverpool clearly more defensively stable this season?

Their biggest defensive strength is winning the ball back just before the opposition work up a scoring chance. They allow very few shots. I don't think their defence itself has been tested but their set up makes it very hard to score against them.

based on the stats it looks like an even game? should I bother watching the second half, don't want to see Loserpool cruise to another win and clean sheet at that ffs. rest of the fixtures today look awful ffs.

At the same time, the few shots they do concede end up being better than average changes because they commit so much to the press. Teams have to be very clinical against them.

Maguire is a good player. Not 80M good but would be an improvement on Man United's current set of defenders.

Leicester are so slow building up attacks, they certainly won't score if they don't change that

I noticed that when they played Man Utd as well, they'll be overrated among the non top 6 because of it tbh.
They'll look good to watch but won't really create much against anyone good.

Their attack heavily relies on Vardy doing most of the work.

good to see that donkey Keita benched already tbh
had numpties on here like Unique proclaiming him the best MF because he makes a 3 yard pass (was claiming him to be the best in the PL before he even touched down on a British pitch ffs) and Hans who will feverently defend any former Bundesliga player who looked remotely decent in that league like his life depends on it. I know Fabinho is injured or not match fit but I can actually see he or Keita falling out of favor for the strong British score of Milner, Hendo and Ox (when he's back) Already got numpties like Wijnaldum taking minutes from them ffs.

Leicester invested a decent amount this summer IIRC. Vardy's not good enough these days either. Who did they replace Mahrez with? Ghezzal?

He is a great talent and still only 21. Last season he had to play RB because of Clyne's injury but now he's back at CB and is bossing it. If he continues to play like this, Lovren will have a hard time getting back into first 11.

I thought during the United game that Leicester were good between the boxes but average inside of them. Seems that'll be the case when they face the big sides this season. They look easier to play against than when they were a 4-4-2 counter attacking team.

That's what I mean, it was nice to watch up until the box but Man Utd didn't look overly threatened by them until Vardy came on.
It would seem quite worrying how reliant they are on him not just for goals but a fully functioning attack.

2-0 up in an away game while not playing particularly well, I think this can mean only one thing...
