Re: Gerrard May Have to Retire
I'm doubting he will retire, but perhaps that is just me wanting to doubt the news.
Hope Mole's BS senses are right and that this is just some paper talk trying to hook some Scouser readers in.
Would be sort of a sad end to such a player really.

Zombie Gerrard?
I don't know mate, I think "death" in a players face is one statement too much.

he is surely screwed then.... Gerrard is known to have groin injuries and back problems.
[Hey, crazy thought here: When the Mods/Admins set up a word to be filtered it's probably best not to intentionally work around it.]

Go on RAWK for 2 minutes. You'll see what it's like. Sounds like Gerrard's passed away on there.
Actually, don't. We need you here to keep us in line.

Re: Gerrard May Have to Retire
^ He's won every trophy possible bar the EPL, unless that's what you mean.
He'll get it under Kenny. Kenny won't let him retire.

Re: Gerrard May Have to Retire
Kenny Dalglish today revealed that Liverpool have had some positive news regarding the fitness of Steven Gerrard.
The Reds captain began a course of antibiotic treatment for an infection related to an ongoing groin problem last week - and the boss told a Melwood press conference that he is making good progress in his recovery.
Dalglish said: "Steven won't be too far away. The tests that have come back are far better than what was anticipated, so we are delighted by that. We've had some very positive news and will just wait for the progress to continue."
He added: "We've had positive news but the date (of a return) the club has stated remains the same."

So much panic for nothing.
