2018 FIFA World Cup Betting Thread

RULES

1) You cannot back out of a bet.


2) You CANNOT back out of a bet.


3) You must change your avatar/sig/club icon/whatever when you lose. Failure to do so will result in a -30 point penalty and banning from betting until you pay the wager for DOUBLE the duration.


4) Win= 10 points, Draw= 0 points, Loss= -10 points. Medium Term= 30 points, Loss =-30 points. Long term= 50 points. Loss= -50 points. Special rules for competition draws will always be posted beforehand.


5) First come first serve. The person who takes the bet first in this thread will get the bet.


6) ALL bets must be made and taken in this thread and not in chat, other threads or anywhere else.


7) Minimum duration of a wager= 1 day. Maximum duration of a wager= 1 year.


Bets can only be taken in the middle of a related match provided both parties agree to the bet.


9) All bets must be World Cup related. This ranges from matches to individual players, awards, group standings, fantasy World Cup etc.


10) The wager and duration of a bet must be posted.


11) Predicting group standings with points perfectly will result in +30 points for the victor. Taker(s) of the bet must also post their prediction for group standings with points. No points penalty for the losers. Example:

Group B

1) Spain: 9 points
2) Portugal: 6 points
3) Morocco: 3 points
4) Iran: 0 points

1) Spain: 9 points
2) Portugal: 4 points
3) Iran: 2 points
4) Morocco: 1 point
