Who will qualify? (Select two teams)
Re: World Cup (2018) - Group E (Brazil, Serbia, Costa Rica, Switzerland)
Because those countries are historically more successful than Serbia in sports?

Re: World Cup (2018) - Group E (Brazil, Serbia, Costa Rica, Switzerland)
Stick to football you numpty. Croatia have been historically more dominant and relatively successful among the Balkan nations. Bosnia are getting there(will take some time imo) while Serbia's greatest claim to fame is losing to Australia and finishing bottom of the group in two consecutive world cups
There are more Serbians than Albanians in Switzerland yet none of them are really good enough to represent the national team. Even the Swiss are smart enough not to have any Serbian players on board ffs. Good on them.

Should I even invest the energy...
It's like teaching a monkey to paint. Or teaching an Indian not to rape after a rejected marriage proposal.
I give up.

Tell me why are there no Swiss players of Serbian origin if Switzerland has a higher % of Serbians than Albanians ? Who gives a shit about what you achieved in other sports when we're strictly talking about football

Well first of all, because Albanians would rather play for Switzerland than Albania. Serbians would rather play for Serbia than Switzerland. And there are actually just 4 thousand more Serbians
Or is it because Albanians are simply more talented at football? Looking at the football stage, hardly.

So all this lazy researching/trolling and facepalming just to post a couple of lazy stereotypes on a population of 1.3 billion huh
What i said is true in my very first post all trolling aside. Its happened very often with Balkan players losing their heads in key moments. We even saw that in the recent Lazio-Inter game.
Serbia had a stacked squad in 2010 , beat Germany but then proceeded to lose to Australia. This is what i'm talking about. Ifti is right about your team being 'unpredictable'. I'd still pick the Swiss or even Costa Rica to qualify ahead of you.

Re: World Cup (2018) - Group E (Brazil, Serbia, Costa Rica, Switzerland)
No, it's just me manipulating you because that's just how our relationship works.
I actually respect your country. Every country, race, I always look at people individually.
But you just strike me as a person who would rape after getting your marriage proposal rejected by your crush.
As for mentality, you are on point. It's what I normally say Until we play for us to qualify, it's terrible. But if we play for someone else not to qualify you are in for some world class football
Serbia, greatest country in the world

That's a very low down comment that just does not belong at a football forum. We should not be insulting nationalities here, especially since it's such a diverse group. On top of that this insult is especially classless, unjust, narrow minded and borderline racist in nature.
Re: World Cup (2018) - Group E (Brazil, Serbia, Costa Rica, Switzerland)
Brazil will walk this group. Arguably the easiest of all groups. For second place I'll tip Switzerland since Serbia tend to under-perform when it matters.

Stojkovic
Ivanovic - Milenkovic - Tosic - Kolarov
Milivojevic - Matic
Tadic - Sergej - Ljajic
Mitrovic

Tallest squad at the WC, gonna bully the Brazilian midgets the midfield of Milivojevic-Matic-Sergej is Mourinho's wet dream
Too bad Nastasic got injured, him and Milenkovic(next Vidic) would've been a great CB partnership, but Tosic has been solid for the NT so it ain't that bad

As predicted
Costa Rica playing with 4 CBs and a RB in the starting 11, gonna be a tough game, probably thuggish with a lot of physicality involed.

Serbia's defense looks fragile while Costa Rica defend with their whole team.
I see this match will be well fought by both sides and probably a draw.

Serbia looks slow and flat flooted. looking at their sizes, it's not surprising, but Costa Rica is taking advanatge of their pace advantage so far
