It's his natural position, not everyone needs to be a Jurgen Sampaoli hipster imo.

Love Neymar. Haters can piss off honestly, best player outside of the Messi and Ronaldo duo.

Refereeing has been appalling in a lot of these... so you can kick players as much as you want. That's the new rule.
I hope all these negative playing shit teams get kicked out ASAP. Disgrace to football.

Was hoping for CR to hold on to complicate the group further but this was thoroughly deserved for Brazil. One of the best performances so far in the tournament against a decent team.

This is the reason I want Iceland out but its so *bleep* hard to root for Argentina. If only Nigeria could do it.

Re: World Cup (2018) - Group E (Brazil, Serbia, Costa Rica, Switzerland)
Costa Rica is not a decent team though... I think they'd lost 5 out their 7 and drew the other 2 games coming into the tournament.
But the referees are allowing teams to kick players as much as they want without a yellow. That's the equalizer. Ridiculous refereeing.

Re: World Cup (2018) - Group E (Brazil, Serbia, Costa Rica, Switzerland)
Its pretty normal, Smaller teams forego their national identity of playing foootball so that they have a better chance at the highest stage.
As for kicking, I think its fine. Football is turning into a non-contact sport nowdays and physical teams are refreshing. (Not Stoke style though)

Neymar just beat Romario's goal scoring record for Brazil , surpassing his goal tally of 55 goals for his NT.
Was that the tears were for ? I'd assume so

This was peak CONCACAF game, kicking, time wasting, thug play.. that's what Costa Rica is best at and it's always hard to play against such teams.

Re: World Cup (2018) - Group E (Brazil, Serbia, Costa Rica, Switzerland)
People crying for Yellow cards in a WORLD CUP were 2 yellows equals a suspension
GTFO Sports, Goat Refs being instructed to ref like this was 90s Series A and every player is already on a yellow
I don't care if star players aren't getting overtly protected. And more entertaining games when key players especially defensive players aren't suspended.

No one needs protection. Break these bones if you have to. If you can't take it, you are not good enough.
