I scored a goal v Serbia, let everyone see how Albanian I am. I just forgot how Albanian I am when I was supposed to choose which country to play for.
Now there are thousands of mindless Albanians feeling hardcore because of what he did and thousands of mindless Serbs cussing his mother. It's an endless circle and why the hate will never die. Most of the people doing things like this don't even understand the origin or history of Serbian - Albanian conflict and do it because they don't know any better.
One thing is certain though - Indians are the most stupidest.
This is an amazing argument. Balotelli was born in Palermo, raised by Italians in Brescia, has never been to Ghana, but he has Ghanian blood so should play for Ghana
Balotelli was the first player to come in my mind. He's just being salty cuz albanians sent serbs home once again.

It's 2018 and some people still don't seem to realize that you can love more than one country.

Its impossible to love more than one country. Players (and people in general) should take that DNA map test and then whichever country has the largest % gets the guy.

well if a player is playing for one country and scores a goal then celibrates by showing his love for another country then why is he not playing for the country thats in his heart and blood. look at Marcel Desailly. lived in france played for france and as soon as he hung up his boots he was suddenly a ghanaian. the guy was french for the money and the glory but ghanaian in his heart.rincon wrote:Unique wrote:this is why i put forward my argument about players playing for the country of there blood and not a country that gave them a passportVibe wrote:It was quite pathetic really.

It's 2018. and people still don't realize they are being manipulated to hate their neighbours.
I really don't mind Albania or Albanians. I only hate Indians, they are disgusting Gyppos. But would he have done it if this was any other country? I don't think so.
Even though Shaqiri doesn't even know what it means cause he is really just a dumb footballer, it was pretty disgusting and I would feel the same if any Serbian footballer did it.
I guess Balotelli should do the Ghanian star when playing England.

Deal with it bro. Every time we face each other we somehow always win against you no matter what.We are the superior race. Nvm where Shaqiri plays , today you have brazilians playing for Spain , turks playing for Germany etc. The guy has albanian blood and is proud of it.

You just have to take a look at Germany. Khedira , Can , Ozil , etc all players raised from turkish/muslim communities (not to mention others)
The bigger countries invest and integrate these guys since they are children to U17 - U20 etc till they reach NT.
They are born and raised there and they don't have such a strong connections with their countries of origin in footballing aspect etc.
Plus there is a competition between federations who to lure these talented players first.
If Albania doesn't do a good work and arrives late Shaqiri won't refuse an offer from Swiss NT.
If Germany calls you before Turkey if you were Ozil you probably wont refuse such team.
However that doesn't stop them showing affection and being proud of their origins and ofc Shaqiri was going to celebrate that way given our well-known relations with Serbs.

Some people do it for the glory, some do it for the money, some do it because its in their heart and blood, some because its in their heart, some because if its in their blood. Every case its different.
I know nothing of Shaqiri or XHAKA. Maybe they love Albania, maybe they love Switzerland, probably both.
Its 2018, the world is smaller and due in large part thanks to england we have mass immigration and globalization.
One day a Unique Jr down the line is gonna have a kid with someone who isn't english (preferably a gay muslim). Then you may understand.

I also don't hate our neighbor bros, not even Serbs. Except for those that identify themselves as Cetniks.
Anyway I don't disagree with you that glorifying such gestures is dumb. But Albanians and Serbs are both suffering in their countries, they need some kind of relief and escape from everyday life and they find it in sport, music and other entertainment.

Re: World Cup (2018) - Group E (Brazil, Serbia, Costa Rica, Switzerland)
Some pick the better team hoping for a better career and more fame and titles.
Some are just raised as swiss and not albanians and wouldn't mind playing for Switzerland.
Some will accept the first offer who comes their way from a NT etc.
Some will play for their country of origin because they know they can't make it for let's say Germany.
And lastly the most rare breed are the ones who will choose their country of origin no matter what.
There are tons of players involved in such situations.
We have Jorginho playing for Italy cuz he wasn't called by Brazil.
Both Icardi & Dybala considered offers from Italy because they didn't have space at Argentina.
There are so many different cases that I don't really get why people find it so debatable the choice of swiss-albanians.

Özil didn't do any of that. The one with my president was Gündogan. They were dumb enough to take a pic together with Erdogan.
Assume you are a Brit born and living abroad in Australia all of your life. Then you are invited to a gala where the British prime minister is also present. If he asks you to take a picture with him, would you see any offence in that? How could you know that later the same picture would be used for election purposes?
