Jibers I demand an apology for your false predictions that we would leave at the group stage

BarrileteCosmico wrote:How did you not like Tagliafico. He was solid and dependable. Earned his spot today IMO.
And you would rather have ADM? If I never see him wear our colors again it will be too soon
The guy can't even stop a long ball with his elephant touch. He did NOTHING going forward today, as with any other day. When we need a goal, he is a true liability.
Dima was shit and he has gradually gotten worse since leaving Madrid but he was trying. We have nobody else who can be dangerous on the left.
Re: World Cup (2018) - Group D (Argentina, Croatia, Iceland, Nigeria)
He took 1 or 2 shots iirc, one from a decent place, I wouldn't say that he offers "nothing" going forward but I agree that he is lacking. Is Ansaldi any better though? and in any case, considering Mercado is more of an "attacking" right back I have no problem with someone more balanced on the left, our defense is leaky enough as it is.
ADM might have been trying but I got tired of yelling at my TV because of every counter he ruined. Especially in the 2nd half he was horrid. Pavon over him any day please.

Re: World Cup (2018) - Group D (Argentina, Croatia, Iceland, Nigeria)
Pavón was good because he was facing a tired Nigeria team. We have all seen how he plays when he starts
Also Moses didn't dare going forward this match as much as he did in the previous matches cause of Dima. Believe me I'm not saying he is the ideal player, he had a poor second half but he was trying. In fact he was on to score a goal had their CB not tackled him the last second (coulda shoulda been a red card btw Game over).

Re: World Cup (2018) - Group D (Argentina, Croatia, Iceland, Nigeria)
But that was about his only good contribution to the entire game, and on the balance if we compare it to the amounts of lost balls, slowed play, etc it wouldn't be a positive game even if Messi's FK had gone in.
And sure Pavon is untested with the full 90, but he's shown enough to deserve to start. He did it vs Iceland and Croatia too.

Those players from south american league must be benched. They may look great there but compared to the world their level is low. All big names must play. they are experienced and their presence puts pressure in opposing teams.
Today big names saved Argentina, messi banega rojo. Also Di Maria was great, he opened space and worked hard.Dont replace him with unknown south american league player, let him play. Same with Banega
I dont want to see meza, acuna, silvio or perez again in starting line up, i saw them against croatia and they were coward flops without any big league experience. Play Banega, Dybala, Di Maria from start and this team will be much better

Dany stop hating Nico, he's a top lad
France really SHOULD rip this team apart so a 0-0 after 90 mins seems like the most likely result.

Fantastic volley by Rojo
That goal by Messi was absolutely incredible too, hope people don't overrate it. Running at the speed he was and to take it on the thigh as he did and then the second, absolutely perfect touch before it's even hit the ground...brilliant. Not to mention the finish with his weaker right.
Incredible goal.
Wish I could have seen the games today. Argentina to beat France

Your man Diego Maradona is already at it. This man has lived 14 lives and all of them at 150 miles per hour without a helmet. pic.twitter.com/MqKY2l7Utw

Acuna plays for Sporting in Portugal, Salvio for Benfica and Perez for Valencia.

Salvio is the only good player there imo, Perez is trash imo yet to see a good performance from him.

All Argentines hate/love him. He's both the best of us and the worst of us.

When he was giving the finger to Nigerian fans after the winning goal today, I'd say he's a bit of a disgrace tbh. He had one talent: play football. He's a disaster in everything else.

@Betty perhaps you don't know Maradona more than the odd meme.
Hate him like no one else in football. Clown, disgrace, but let's not get into politics. Has no shortage of people that hate him in Latin America.
Like Sports says, has the one talent, everything else...

Is he back on coke? The footage from yesterday suggests it pretty much irrefutably tbh. Sniffing, fingering his nose repeatedly, going complete apeshit, giving both middle fingers, dancing etc.
Probably relapsed after Fidel died ffs.
