Re: World Cup (2018) - Group D (Argentina, Croatia, Iceland, Nigeria)
Argentina need to hope Nigeria nick another goal for Iceland's GD to take a hit

Nigeria dominating Iceland
Could've easily been 2-0 on a couple of occasions

Anyone watching this Nigeria v Iceland game? Just rarely watching a bit, but Nigeria outplaying Iceland. 2-0 now. So this means if Argentina beat Nigeria and Iceland dont win vs Croatia, then Argentina are through. Not that impossible, how football things changes so quickly Silly me still giving Argentina hope but, its not impossible.

Iceland GD -2
Argentina GD -3
As things stand
If the result stays this way, Argentina can still control their own fate
Beat Nigeria 3-0 and they go through. Dont see Iceland beating Croatia by more than 1 goal.

Don't have to just beat Nigeria? assuming Croatia wins ofc.
Not that it matters anyway unless they improve drastically.

Re: World Cup (2018) - Group D (Argentina, Croatia, Iceland, Nigeria)
The refs so strict with the GK not leaving the goal line during pens this WC, good to see. Previously the GK get so much advantage but just jumping like a meter or two forward to reduce the angles when the player kicks it.

Yes, if Croatia beats Iceland and Argentina wins then goal difference won't matter
It's nice that Argentina will still have a chance and can control their own fate

In a scenario where Iceland wins....
They just have to hope Iceland dont beat Croatia by more than 1 goal. (which is very very unlikely IMO)
If Argentina score 3 goals or more against Nigeria, they're virtually through.
