It was a good finish too. Should I give Zidane credit for this one? Our formation didn't change, no real tactical adjustments, all our players really did was just play better. Guess he definitely pelt some of them with bottles, proper motivational technique that is.

once again way too entertaining for my liking, its like everyone on defense expects their defensive partner to show needed urgency, and noone expects that of themselves, so nothing gets done. i don't need to worry about this guy on the wing, ramos will clear it, and ramos also thinking the same thing of his defensive partners and we end up conceding. happy about the result, but damn it defense is part of the game, basic defensive duties are lacking

One thing I've noticed is that Theo and Kovacic, regardless of their performance level, play with more energy than Marcelo and Kroos do. This was especially apparent in the second half. Our regular starters have consistently been looking lethargic in second halves since the start of the season.

Much better second half. Not excellent but progress from the tripe we've witnessed this season. Theo had a superb game minus the lazy tracking for their third goal

Bale has been poor for a while. I am glad ZZ is benching him when he feels like it and isn't pressured to start him. I don't think he's finished a game since he came back from his injury. And his lazy display yesterday hasn't exactly earned him plaudits with the manager.

We need to get rid of him and Benz at the end of the season. The difference between Bale and Neymar is like the difference between day and night. The only thing he has over the crybaby is goals but I am sure if the crybaby played for a team like ours that churns out goalscoring opportunities like it's nothing, he'd score more (decisive goals)

I would not pin our hopes on Neymar. Fantastically talented player.... but he's such a bitch that I don't think you can win with him as the face of your franchise. He would drive any top manager crazy with his antics.

At least CR is the consummate pro while being a diva. Neymar is CR level diva (or worse lol) and has professionalism issues.

I think Neymar would tow the line (as best as he could) as long as he has teammates who can literally put him in his place. Ramos, CR, Modric, shit, Zidane himself would totally not tolerate his PSG antics. Which really isn't a good sign for a player that you need other men to dictate one's professionalism but it is what it is with Neymar.

As Tito mentioned, as long as it isn't Romario esque, I think Madrid can manage it well enough.

It's starting to leak in the press that Zidane will leave the team regardless this summer, specially after his comment about this being a tiring job.

If you hire a new coach, let's say Pochettino you have to revamp the team completely because this group has already won and they won't run hard for Pochettino.

Guti lol, he should not be hiring managers with 0 experience on their CVs, we are not Osasuna. Zidane was an exception, and there is 0 reason to repeat that. There are young managers out there that are proving themselves like Pocchetino who deserves 100% moreto coach madrid.

I'm sure he was, and still is aware that he was a lazy diva as a player. I don't doubt that he could possibly become a capable manager in the future, but I'd prefer if we went for someone with experience. Someone like, Messi

I would not count Guti out for the future, if you have been following him, he has been doing extremely well so far, much better than Zidane at the youth level. I expect Guti to take Solari's job in the summer, get some experience with Castilla, then move on to one of the top flight LL teams.

Pushing Guti into the first team's manager role (within 1-2 years even) would be far too premature and could potentially mess up a good thing for the future. I don't expect RM to make that same mistake.
