So who's stopping Inter from winning Serie A?
With Napoli in CL, and Inter not having midweek games. They will have the advantage in the long haul. Thanks to Spalletti, who's been their best signing alongside Skriniar, Vecino and Valero. They have everything to make this happen, Spalletti has reinvigorated the team. Not to mention Icardi in prime form, he has reformed him, even cleansing his demons (0 goals vs Milan before). If i were a betting man, i'd go all in on Inter this season.

This performance is like that of Juve's 6-2 vs Udinese with 10 men or Napoli's 4-1 vs Lazio. Of a team sure they can be champions.

Two teams can be unstoppable if they both never lose, their game ended in points for both

Inter is a work in progress, 4th place is the objective. Scudetto is not possible. There are 2 surely much stronger teams and 2 teams at least equal to Inter, so even 4th is a stretch.

Tbf that European commitment is a bigger deal than I feel it's ever made out to be.
I have a theory currently ongoing that Chelsea do shit on purpose during some league campaigns just so they can win the league the year after. I have faith Inter might be able to do the same.
Just offering another viewpoint even though the correct answer is Juve by the end of November

This is good article TBH
Shame it's in Italian language and I can't translate for whole .
3 reasons because Inter can fight for Scudetto ( improvements, talent, and rejects to become "stars") , and 3 reasons for no. (still not much convinction , short rosters and contenders are better equipped )
And the end it concludes that it will be very difficult to overcome them this year.
It's clear, our target is the 4th place and 5th place is just -2..........
Winning every match is not enough in Serie A, there are so many scrub teams.

Re: So who's stopping Inter from winning Serie A?
I still see Juve and Napoli at the top. Roma should finish in the top four but not necessarily third (third and fourth are equal this year because there are no CL qualifiers, top 4 = auto qualification from how I know it). That leaves Inter and Lazio. Lazio is good but I don't know if they can do it this season, so far so good but there's a long way to go.
Inter making the top 4 would benefit Serie A more. They would invest while Lazio will lose players like De Vrij, for free to Juve, and Sergej, also to Juve

Re: So who's stopping Inter from winning Serie A?
I think Inter's and Lazio's squads will be too short (in terms of quality replacements) to keep up this level for a whole season. Inter can last longer since they don't have europe. Roma's depth should be the key in the end to kick one of them out of the CL spots. Probably Lazio will fall just behind.
Inter needs the January market. Having an extra midfielder would do wonders. Also signing some scrub CB for the 4th choice.

Re: So who's stopping Inter from winning Serie A?
Top 4 achievable target, podium would be icing on the cake. Obviously this is a great response to the whomspbvt can stop Napoli thread, but fun aside no one really sees Inter close to Juve or Napoli on the long term.
Roma, Lazio and Inter fight for the spots 3 to 5. A not-so-comfortable win against Sampdoria won't make me lose my mind.

Re: So who's stopping Inter from winning Serie A?
Let us learn how to play properly without the pazza Inter setting in first. CL is the goal this year and all Inter fans are eagerly awaiting for January to come, to see if we implode or stay near the top. Idk where the hype for a team with no winning tradition is coming from but Napoli won't see a scudetto before they start buying bigger names. They have a style that could dominate calcio for years if only they had the players for it. We saw that against City where their styles where similar but the quality of the players made the difference.
This year is Jj's as it should be because honestly there's no team on their level in serie a. We are chasing shadows. They even made it a habit to give other teams a head start

The only thing that made a difference for Napoli against Manchester City was Sarri's resting of key players for the Inter match and a missed penalty. Not the quality of the players.

City should have been 4-0 up in the 1st half. Luck was against them too.

Nothing about luck, just that Napoli had Inter to play three days later and had to save players for the game. Napoli wants the Scudetto this year, CL is not a priority.
